Glass tape tied to thin wire which will pull it back to the battery house where the 6 guge codctors and ground wire will be attached and pulled back to the solar array with the tape.
Exactly one year since going online, the panels generated 8,395 kWh, and offset over 10,000 lbs of CO2. Panels were offline for two weeks when the inverter had to be replaced. But that was during the rain storms, and my lease payment was prorated accordingly. For one whole year, my electricity bill was $0.00. Since I now need only approx. 9 kWh a day, I fed plenty into the grid. Solar rules, but conservation is key.
This is an image of the eclipse as projected thru a pair of binoculars on to a piece of cardboard. Viewed this way, the image is upside down from how it appears if you were to look straight at it, which isn't a good idea without proper gear. At the top of the image, a bit of tree top is included in the projection.
