Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate soft toys at Crazy Tuesday. We have Mr. Teddy bear with us in order to celebrate Happy Teddy bear Tuesdays. Please keep in mind that Mr. Teddy Bear has a very soft heart, however he is made of 100% Chinese plastic (no, Teddy isn’t made out of chocolate !!) So he doesn’t qualify as soft toy. That is why, he asked his 2 cousins from Alaska to come and pay him a visit… and then he also asked his friend Mr. Moose to come over for a picture and a glass (or two) of wine. Just for your information: Mr. Teddy bear, his 2 cousins (from his mother’s side) and Mr. Moose were in elementary school all together. So they are very old friends. Since the cousins are living rather far away, they don’t have that many occasions to see each other. This theme was the perfect opportunity to catch up while taking few pictures and adding some awesome memories to his very old friendship.

FYI: because of my renovation project I have to, constantly, move our stuff from one room to another on a very short notice !! So once again, I have to apologize for not answering your comments… I will try to catch up very shortly but for the next few days I’m afraid I will be M.I.A. (missing in action) !!!

One of many stuffed animals here at my house for my grandkids. "Spot" always looks so lonely when they leave.
The day before this soft toy was loved and entertaining a child I believe, I found it the morning after with the smile on its face still intact :). This toy reminded me people who fall to the ground in public and have the ability to stand up quickly with a smile on their faces like nothing had happened.
Pedro und Enda haben beschlossen, auch mit Fotografieren anzufangen, und sie tuen es sehr klassisch. Für die ersten Aufnahmen ist Pedro der Fotograf und Edna posiert als Model. Anschliessend werden sie die Rollen tauschen.

Pedro and Enda have decided to start taking pictures as well, and they do it very classically. For the first shots, Pedro is the photographer and Edna poses as the model. After that, they will switch roles.
Wie manche von Euch wissen, hat der kleine Wolf Kolja eine Schwester namens Natasha, und die beiden verbindet eine tiefe Geschwisterliebe (flic.kr/p/2k4A5sm). Doch Natasha gehört auch zur Tochter des Sekretärs. Und als die Tochter für ihre berufliche Ausbildung weit weg in eine fremde Stadt zog, war es keine Frage, dass Natasha sie begleiten würde. Und obwohl Kolja das natürlich verstanden hat, sehnt er sich doch sehr nach seiner Schwester. Auch wenn es noch einige Wochen sind, bis Natasha wieder zu Besuch kommen wird, sitzt er immer wieder auf der Zufahrt von des Sekretärs Haus und blickt auf die Strasse – die Strasse, auf der sie schliesslich erscheinen wird.
Und oft setzt sich sein guter Freund Pedro zu ihm und umarmt ihn mit einer Bären-Tatze. Still und und geduldig warten sie gemeinsam…

As some of you know, little wolf Kolya has a sister named Natasha, and they share a deep sibling love (flic.kr/p/2k4A5sm). But Natasha also belongs to Secretary's daughter. And when the daughter moved far away to a foreign city for her professional studies, there was no question that Natasha would accompany her. And although Kolya, of course, understood this, he still feels very much for his sister. While it is still a few weeks until Natasha will come for a visit again, he often sits on the driveway of Secretary's house and looks at the road - the road on which she will finally appear.
And often his good friend Pedro sits with him and hugs him with a bear paw. Silently and with patience they wait together...
Am Abend eines heissen Sommertages sitzt Pedro gerne auf der alten Bank und geniesst eine Berliner Weisse (von der er überzeugt ist, dass es eigentlich eine BÄRliner Weisse sein müsste) mit Schuss.

On the evening of a hot summer day, Pedro loves to sit on the old bench and enjoy a Berlin White "Berliner Weisse" (of which he is convinced that it should actually be a BEARlin White) with shot.
(Note: «Berliner Weisse» is a (pretty sour) specialty beer from Berlin which is usually enjoyed with a shot of raspberry or woodruff syrup.)
Pedro hat ein Reiseziel gefunden, das unter den aktuellen Umständen möglich scheint und hat den Sekretär gefragt, ob er mitkommen möchte. Sehr wahrscheinlich wird der Sekretär nicht widerstehen können….

Im letzten Jahr begleitete Pedro den Sekretär bei zwei kürzeren Reisen an die Ostsee. Als er seiner guten Freundin Edna davon erzählte, beschlossen die beiden, demnächst gemeinsam zu fahren (see flic.kr/p/2mBrfHN ). Hier sehen wir sie nun in Heringsdorf auf Usedom. Edna kannte bereits das Mittelmeer und die Nordsee, und die Ostsee gefällt ihr auch sehr gut.

Last year, Pedro accompanied Secretary on two shorter trips to the Baltic Sea. When he told his good friend Edna about it, the two decided to go together soon (see flic.kr/p/2mBrfHN). Here we see them now in Heringsdorf on Usedom. Edna already knew the Mediterranean the North Sea, and she also likes the Baltic Sea very much.

Der junge Wolf Kolja und sein guter Freund Pedro auf ihrem (und des Sekretärs) Lieblingssessel. Und da der Sekretär seinen Sessel ohnehin nicht benutzen konnte, nutze er die Gelegenhiet, ein Bild von den beiden zu machen - mit einer Nikon F2 Photomic auf Ilford HP 5 Plus.
