'Rural Illusion' was a design principle of Newsham Park, and in fact they're found all over the city.

In this beautiful countrified view, I've got the Field Lane housing estate at my back, another big housing estate to the right of the tree line, a gigantic solar farm behind the left hand tree line, and at the back of the frame, behind the tree line, a sodding great hospital.

Marvellous.

it disgusts me that fashion week is able to shut down one of our most wonderful parks for two weeks during the most beautiful part of september. it also amazes me the number of times per year that they remove and replace the sod on this lawn for these events.
