Yo Guys! On Sat 11am (31st Oct 2009), I made my way to Google Singapore office at Temasek Tower to attend Code Android Singapore meetup. Didn't park at Temasek Tower as there are hourly charges before 1pm. Instead, I parked at UIC Building which is S$3 per entry for the whole day but have to walk around 5 mins to Temasek Tower. Morning walk is good!
Code Android Singapore is basically a Google Android™ Developers and User Group, where the community can learn about the platform, latest news, reviews and such. In the Code Android Oct 09 meetup, Hongster (Leong Hean Hong) will be talking about “ColorFilter For The Dummies” and Royyuru Avinash on “Monetizing on Android”. I didn't take much photos during the Code Android session as I was really focusing on the talks (due to the unfamiliarity of Android platform).
Anyway, the above shows the pantry corner of Google Singapore office, where the Google staff can help themselves to the drinks and food. Thanks to Google Singapore that attendees of the Code Android and Singapore Google Technology User Group (SG-GTUG) enjoys the same privileges!

At del.icio.us, the "reciprocality" of the link between users is used to define two sets of relationships. People I have reached out to are part of 'my network', people that have reached out to me are 'my fans'. Remarkably, they choose not to use a third set for the mutual connections and instead make that an attribute of the people in my network.
The term 'fan' is culturally loaded as it heavily implies admiration and respect from a position somewhat inferior to the subject. Compare to the more much aseptic and egalitarian term 'contacts' (flickr)
However, people I have reached to without correspondence are not conversely 'idols'. They are just in my network, as peers.
Variables involved: Reciprocality, Status

Un sistema complesso è un insieme in cui gli elementi subiscono continue modifiche singolarmente prevedibili, ma di cui non è possibile, o è molto difficile, prevedere uno stato futuro.
There are several advantages of visualizing and analyzing co-occurrence data with tools from social network analysis. First, there has recently been an increasing effort to elaborate algorithms in network analysis more generally under the pressure to understand the operations of the Internet, but also of other networks in biological and physical systems (Da F. Costa et al., 2005). Social network analysts can profit from these developments which are theoretically informed by graph theory. Similarly, there has been an explosion of visualization techniques. Using PROXSCAL may be more appropriate for visualizing co-citation data than using Pajek, because PROXSCAL can take the measurement scale into account. However, Pajek allows the user to indicate the strength of the relation, as noted, in terms of the thickness of the lines. PROXSCAL and other MDS programs require users to draw the relevant lines and groupings themselves. In the above example, Figure 13 shows a mapping result similar to that of Figure 10 and Figure 11 because the data set under study is unique in that there are two distinctive sets of authors; reducing the co-citation matrix to a binary one did not affect the result significantly.
