The edge of day...Chasing the light in the woodland forest, following the path towards the setting sun. Francis/King Regional Park, Saanich, Vancouver Island, BC.
Francis King Regional Park is a 107-hectare park, nestled in rural Saanich. The woodland park is home to massive old growth forest including magnificent 500-year-old Douglas-fir trees. There is a vast network of woodland walking and hiking trails as well as a boardwalk loop trail for those with mobility issues, an ideal place for visitors of all abilities to explore nature.
This Photo was taken about 4 years ago at the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield UK, there is some great areas of different coloured crocus. I thought this photo represented the worlds currant situation.
Marley with paws up, sleeping in a twisted pretzel-like position with not a care in the world, enjoying the coveted cat bed in the windowsill retreat...it doesn’t get much better than this. Pandemic? Who cares...social distancing on the windowsill all day long.
Taken in Captains Wood on one of my daily exercise walks last week, a dog walker on a parallel path keeping a safe distance!

Not the peak night...but we'll be out there tonight. I started my intervalometer early and Jeff changed out my battery around 2 am. This was from about 9pm to 4 am. Tonight should be amazing.
