Thank you very much for your much appreciated virews and comments.
This is one of set of eight photos taken at the North Carolina Museum of Art of paintings. The work is by Flemish artist Frans Snyders (1579-1657) and his Workshop and dates from circa 1635-40. Snyders, in the early 1600s, had a collaborative working relationship with Rubens.
Quoting from the wall placard: "The picture's fascinating subject matter, vivid colors, fine craftsmanship, and exceptional size invite immediate admiration and wonder from the viewers." An amazing number of live animals are seen in and among the dead, offering some amusing glimpses into animals being animals. The placard states that fish and meat markets were separate in those days; but this is a rich display of food items available in the early-mid 17th century.

Snyder’s Tavern was built in 1910 in West Shokan, originally operating as a boarding house. In 1933, after prohibition ended, Mabel S. Snyder received one of the first liquor licenses in New York State. The Tavern has operated for three generations of the Snyder family, currently being operated by Mabel Snyder’s grandson, Chester Scofield. It remains one of the oldest liquor licenses in New York State. In 1947, Snyder’s Tavern became home to the Bushkill Rod & Gun Club. Taverns and Inns in Olive were always a center of community events. Most probably Olive’s first Town Board Meeting was held In Uriah Schutt’s Tavern in 1824.

This day use conservation area in Bloomingdale, Ontario offers a variety of hiking trees. This particular one is the most secluded. We'd been hiking at Snyders Flats for several years before we happened upon this part of the trail.

One of the old shopping carts in the store, the rest were by the register with various stock on them. I didn't check this one out in any detail but it's possibly a vintage Tote Cart.

United Airlines Flight 93 was a United States domestic passenger flight from Newark International Airport in Newark, NJ to San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, CA that was hijacked on September 11, 2001. The hijackers' intended target was either the White House or the United States Capitol.
The passengers mounted an assault against the hijackers in an attempt to regain control of the aircraft. The plane crashed in a field in Stonycreek Township, near Shanksville, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, about 80 miles (130 km) southeast of Pittsburgh and 150 miles (240 km) northwest of Washington, D.C., killing all on board.
Of the four aircraft hijacked on September 11 (the others were American Airlines Flight 11, American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 175), United Airlines Flight 93 was the only one that failed to reach its intended target.
