Delicious strawberry, kiwi, & pineapple smoothie. And a peach, green tea, ginseng smoothie.
That's just what you have to do when it's hot.
Here's a photo of the delicious ice-cold smoothie my wife made for both of us today. It's a blend of frozen fruits: blueberries, strawberries & bananas, in soya milk. So it's dairy-free and gluten-free. Some time before, my wife froze some chunks of over-ripe bananas, which we would have thrown away otherwise. We bought the other frozen fruits from a supermarket.

If sippin' your smoothie doesn't take you here, you're doing it wrong.
So happy to say, these are all my own images! I can't stand the idea of using other people's images (free and legal) to edit pictures, and I know it's a thing people do these days... I just need them all to be mine! Otherwise it doesn't feel genuine.
This was actually my smoothie today. Strawberry, lime, coconut, banana! Amazing.
On another note, I've really been enjoying being back on Flickr... it's the only form of social media I'd actually prefer to be on, as I love connecting with other photographers that are just about photography and art. I was contemplating coming back here for almost half a year before I finally did, and I'm glad I did. I would love to get rid of everything else. Dear Flickr, please stick around another 10 years. Also, thanks for not ruining image quality all these years.
Something New!
We just got back from our trip to the Trumansburg Farmer's Market and one of the booths had Aronia Berries for sale. They had a smoothie to try and I was quite taken by it, so we bought a pint of berries. The fellow gave us his smoothie recipe and I made it soon as we got home. Yum, it is good. The berries resemble blueberries but are black and very dry and tart, but with the other ingredients it makes a super tasty drink. We're going to get a couple Aronia shrubs and plant them in our yard. Maybe we'll get enough berries from it in the coming years to make more smoothies!
