Take a journey back to 1814 as a ghostly convict ship emerges from the dark waters of Campbells Cove and explodes into flame. Featuring a stunning re-creation of the fire that devastated the 19th-century convict ship the Three Bees sending its cannon balls blazing across the harbour, Fire Water brings history to life in a unique free harbourside event never seen before in The Rocks.
For three nights only fire sculptures, light installations, music, floating lantern workshops, flame-grilled food from local restaurateurs and the dramatic burning of the Three Bees will turn The Rocks into a spectacularly warm winter haven.
Fire Water is presented by Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
