A scene done while traveling on Kinmen Island that I am not uploading to Virtual Paintout...only allowed to do that 3 times in the month. There's another one I want to do for the last upload before we move to Coney Island, I wish....never been there...I added the man on the bench and wonder why the water seems reflections are those colors but that's what I saw..
One of the most beautiful places in the world is Prokhara, Nepal. It is a small city situated on a beautiful lake surrounded by snow capped mountains. When you first arrive you immediately notice the paragliders soaring down from the mountain top. I knew I had to do it. We found a ride to the top, paid our money and within an hour I was strapped to the front of a Frenchman and running off the side of the mountain for the ride of my life. It was incredible! We flew like a bird for 25 minutes. But to be honest I almost lost my lunch at the bottom. For future reference, if you are enjoying a beautiful time of sailing around like a bird and a Frenchman asks you if you want to go down fast, say NO!
After this incredible experience, we decided to go back up to the top of the mountain and hike down. This was one of the small buddhist temples we found on the hike down.
Softball tournaments in small towns around the country are big events, with much of the population attending. This tournament was captured on film in the mid-sixties at Oxford, Wisconsin.
I still haven't gotten any curtains added to the window, but I switched out a few of the accessories that were in this kitchen. Small changes can make a big difference, even if it's only to me! ☺️
I love this picture of my little one, Delilah. She was holding onto the sliding door looking out in our backyard. She started giving me the funniest faces when I started snapping shots.
In spring female Small Tortoiseshells can be seen flying around young nettle patches, where they lay their greenish eggs in large untidy heaps of 80-100 on the underside of the upper leaves. Females typically select young plants growing near the edge of a nettle bed, and always growing in warm, sunny and sheltered conditions. Typical breeding sites include field margins at the bottom of south-facing hills, dykes, riverbanks, railway cuttings, and nettle patches growing on the south side of hedges or walls.
The eggs hatch after about 12 days. Immediately after hatching, the larvae devour their empty egg shells, and then spin a communal silk web around the terminal leaves of the nettles. They shelter within the web at night, or in poor weather conditions, and feed voraciously whenever the sun shines.
If disturbed the larvae react in unison, wriggling and jerking as a defence against parasitoid wasps or flies. Nevertheless a high proportion of larvae turn out to be parasitised, usually by the Tachinid fly Phryxe vulgaris.
When young, the caterpillars can easily be mistaken for those of the Peacock, but Small Tortoiseshell larvae are paler, and even when quite small it is usually possible to discern pale lines running along their backs. As they grow, they split up into progressively smaller groups, spinning a new web after each moult.
The final instar sees a change in behaviour, with the larvae abandoning their webs to live independently. By this time they are a dull blackish colour, spiky, with broad yellow lines running along their backs and sides. These lines are usually prominent, but in some batches of larvae they can be pale and obscure. The fully grown larvae can often be seen curled in a J-shaped posture, resting on nettle leaves, and if disturbed will coil into a tight circle and drop to the ground.
The chrysalis is variable in colour, ranging from grey to olive or buff, often with a pinkish or golden metallic sheen. It can be found suspended on woody stems, fence posts, walls, or beneath the stems or leaves of nettles. The adults emerge at dawn, about 12 days after pupation.
In Scotland there is usually only a single generation, emerging in early July, entering hibernation in August, and reappearing in March or April. Elsewhere in Britain there are normally 2 broods per year, one emerging in June, and the other in August. Adults of the latter brood enter hibernation in September or October and awaken the following March.

It was a beautyful day the sun was out it was a nice and sunny August Diego decided to call for Chris and Eric for a bit of fun in the park so he went to Erics house he knocked on the door and Eric awnserd the door "(Diego) hey Chris whats up do you fancy a game of water bloons we can hit Chris first(laugh)" "(Eric) (laugh) sure i'll be out now" so Diego and Eric went to call for Chris they knocked on his door and hid behind a brick wall "(Chris) um hello is anyone there" Chris walked out and looked around he was trembling Chris didn't like silence and he thought that he was going to get hurt but all of a sudden two water bloons hit Chris in the face Chris was drenched Diego and Eric came from the brick wall pointing at Chris and started laughing "(Eric) (laugh) you didn't see that coming did you" "(Chris) *ha ha very funny* im going back in i got alot to do" "(Diego) Chris wait do you fancy going to the park for some summer fun it'll be fun we're going to to water fights" "arnt we a little old to be hurling water around" "(Eric) come on Chris it's hot water fighting is the only way to have fun and to get refreshed what do you say?" "(Chris) OK LET ME FILL MY WATER GUN!!" Chris said in an excited way he ran inside filled a few bloons and filled his water gun to the top and he ran out side Chris Diego and Eric ran to the park Chris lobbed the first water bloon at Eric then Eric lobbed one at Diego Diego shoved a bloon in Erics face and Chris put his water gun through Erics top and shot his back with ice cold water then they stopped to get a breather they sat on the grass then they noticed a puppy in the park it was alone no one else was there only a puppy the puppy ran past Chris Diego and Eric "(Diego) hey Chris think fast" Diego threw a water bloon but Chris ducked and the water bloon hit the puppy the puppy yelped as the water drenched it from head to paw Diego and Eric started laughing "(Chris) hey guys stop laughing that's not funny" the puppy ran off and went by a tree the puppy felt so embarrassed he looked by the edge of the tree he could see thouse humans laughing and mocking him "(Eric) Chris it's just water water won't hurt anyone" "(Chris) but it wasn't fair to laugh how would you feel if you were him and people laughed at you" "(Diego) i'd laugh with them and not be a grump about it" Diego and Eric started laughing "(Diego) i guess i should head on home and change out of these wet clothes" "(Eric) yeah same" "(Chris) same here" so Diego Eric and Chris got up and started walking they walked off the grass and to the big steps the puppy was feeling weird it's eyes were glowing it didn't like being laughed at all of a sudden a beam shot out the puppies eyes and shot Diego Chris and Eric the puppy was by the edge of the tree and he could see that the three humans shrunk the puppy knew what this meant *Revenge* the puppy felt kind of happy about the situation the puppy walked from the tree and started trotting happily over to the three tiny humans Chris Eric and Diego looked around they didn't know where they were at first then they noticed Chris's water gun it was huge then they saw a puppy walking over to them "(Chris) oh my god OH MY GOD" "(Diego) is that a giant puppy?" "(Eric) what does it look like it's the giant puppy we soaked" "(Chris) you mean the giant puppy you two soaked" "(Eric) hey Diego was the one with the water bloon" the puppy stopped with his paws just an inch by Chris Eric and Diego the puppy looked down and grinned the puppy looked at the water gun on the ground the puppy went by the water gun and put it's paw by the trigger Chris Eric and Diego looked at the puppy and saw it's paw by the trigger "(Eric) umm Diego Chris get prepared to get wet" "(Diego) oh no HEY YOU STOP GET YOUR PAW AWAY FROM THAT" "(Chris) don't make him angry" "(Eric) why he's a small dumb puppy" "(Chris) Eric your the one who is dumb and we are the small one's he's practicably bigger then us" "hey Chris you telling me that your scared of a baby dog" "(Chris) the word is puppy you

dingus" "(Diego) can you two shut up we are about to be drenched by loads and loads of water ok" the puppy pulled the trigger and water spurted out the nozzle Chris Eric and Diego were coverd in water it was like a lake to them the water was up to there knees the puppy walked over to the three humans and he was kind of happy that he got them back for getting him wet but it wasn't enough the puppy was humiliated and he wanted to get them back more the puppy soaked them but he wanted to humiliate them the puppy moved it's paw over to Eric he screamed for the puppy to stop the puppy went for Eric because he looked the toughest the puppy started slowly lowering it's paw down on Eric but the puppy didn't want to cause any harm to them it just wanted to play and mess around with them "(Eric) NOOO!!! DON'T SQUISH ME!!" Chris and Diego were scared but at the same time they laughed after seeing Eric all scared the puppy moved it's paw away and he smiled when he saw the two laughing at Eric the puppy grabbed Chris by the back of his shirt and lifted him up Chris started screaming as he was being lifted from the ground "(Chris) AHH AHH put me down put me down" Chris was shaking all over he was terrified of hights the puppy started shaking and tossing Chris around Chris started crying the puppy dropped Chris Chris fell into the puddle with a huge splash the puppy looked at Diego he opend his mouth and brought his head closer and closer to Diego Diego backed away as he saw the giant maw coming towards him "(Diego) no don't eat me please" the puppy grabbed Diego the half of Diego's body was inside the puppies mouth inside the puppies motuh the puppy was soaking Diego with his tounge Diego was screaming to be let out Diego was started to get scared he was afraid of dark places especially one's with a giant tounge hitting him in the face Diego's legs were hanging out of the mouth the puppy was starting to enjoy the taste of Diego the puppy opend his mouth and Diego fell out and into the big puddle the puppy licked his chops and looked at the three tinies "(Chris) were you inside that puppies mout" "( Diego)yes i was ok go ahead and laugh" "(Eric) um guys i don't like the look that puppy is giving to us" the puppy licked it's chops again "(Diego) i been in that dog's mouth and it's not to pleasant look at me im coverd in puppy spit" Chris and Eric were discusted by pictureing the image of the inside of that puppies mouth the puppy took one step Chris Eric and Diego started to panic "(Chris) RUUUN!!!" Chris Diego and Eric started running they were by the edge of a step they couldn't get down because of the hight of the step the puppy looked at the tinies and grinned in an instant the puppy grabbed Chris and he put his head up Chris fell into the mouth then the puppy grabbed Diego and got him into his mouth then the puppy looked at Eric with it's puffed out cheeks Diego in one side and Chris in the other the puppy gave a gulp Eric was really panicing when he heard the puppy gulp the puppy licked it's chops once again and looked at Eric "(Eric) NOOO!!!" Eric ran under the puppy and ran to the end of the pavement and into the grassy jungle Eric ran for his life the puppy ran onto the grass and looked around sniffing eatch spot of the grassy area Eric ran and ran he was panting but he didn't care how tierd he was he really wanted to get some where safe then he bumbed into somthing huge and black Eric didn't know what it was so he ran past the huge black soft thing he ran past a huge looking wall it was fluffy and brown he stopped at the end of the wall and saw a giant looking face it was a fully grown saint bernard Eric started to panic more he ran far far away from the sleeping giant saint bernard and continued running the puppy looked all over for it's tiny human Eric thought he got away but suddenly a giant thing landed in front of him it was the giant nose of that puppy the puppy grabbed Eric by his shirt and trotted off he went by a quiet place lied down on his back Eric was tossing and turning trying to get away the puppy opend it's mouth Eric held on for his life he climbed up onto the nose the puppy tried to get the tiny human into his maw he was moving his head back and forth Eric was knocked to the end of his mouth then the puppy gave one more nudge with his head Eric was tossed by his teeth Eric hung on and on he didn't want to get eaten Eric felt his grip getting looser and looser then he lost his grip and fell into the dark maw the puppy slammed his maw shut and started enjoying the taste by moving Eric around with his giant tounge then he gave a huge gulp and started panting the puppy had really great fun playing with Eric Diego and Chris he wished that the fun could continue all of a sudden somthing his the puppy in the head it was a ball a boy ran over to the ball it was Rover "(Rover) (laughs) heads up little puppy" Rover said while laughing he grabbed his ball and ran off the puppy grinned and his eyes turned red looks like the fun will continue
