(Epipactis microphylla), a species of wild orchid

I never saw so much pollen in such a small flower

I’m small,

but You are greater than me

Deeper than what I see

is Your love....

You may see the yellow wildflowers soaking up the Sun. Others may see the Monet-like blue flowers in the shaded background. But some always look for the small details. And they see the ant silhouette.

Gainsborough Ravine, Toronto On 19 Nov 2020

Another ravine fragment of the Small's/Tomlins Creek system in Toronto's east end. Once part of the old Toronto Golf Course, redeveloped for housing in the 1910s. The ravine saw a lot of dumping of ashes and rubbish from the 1920s onwards. Now it survives as a ravine fragment with a short surface watercourse.

the pineapple is a big deal here in Va, and you can't go many places w/o seeing one!

This is about 9x11'', wip, machine and hand sewn, beaded and quilted..

Mixed series of three. There are quite a few Small Heaths in the field. Easily overlooked.

Not on my own survey patch unfortunately but nice to see half a dozen or so a couple of miles away, flying in the brief sunshine the other day. This is a male, which I saw mating.
