Only a cosmic sense that something really big is taking shape up ahead, Teilhard thought, can let us lift up our hearts in such a way that it may add incentive to our “intervening duties.” By harnessing nature’s own leaning toward the future Christian spirituality after Galileo, Darwin, and Big Bang cosmology can motivate our actions in a way that is fully consistent with the Christian doctrines of incarnation and redemption.

As is usual here, rain pretty quickly follows snow, melting it all away. But before it's gone, along our curb, once dried autumn leaves get a brief reprieve. Rehydrated by slushy snow, they say, "look down - we are still beautiful."

Chinatown during lunchtime. A cold, winter's day in Central London capturing both the people and the architecture. The winter weather and snowfall providing some great lighting and atmosphere.
Home-bound holiday travelers decorate Main Street with the red, yellow, green twinkle and blink of brake and traffic lights. Away from that stream, I stand alone along the river road and listen to the sashay of slush as it glides across the dance floor of reflections and resolutions.
During a recent visit to a restaurant, by lad wanted this blue slush thing to drink. It looked about as appealing as drinking some anti-freeze or a can of Carlsberg......
No thanks!
