My siblings figured our father had a cast iron stomach. He could eat shelled peanuts by the gallon, snark down raw oysters, eat cow brains, drink dill pickle juice from the jar and douse almost everything he ate with a liberal amount of hot sauce. But we loved our winter slow down on the farm as dad was at every meal with the family and though not a great conversationalist, it was a season when the whole family could reconnect at the kitchen table in the warmth of a caring family.
A New Haven-bound CT Rail Hartford Line train slows for the station stop at Windsor, CT. The Victorian-style station was built in 1870 by the Hartford & New Haven railroad. The 150-year old structure still serves passengers today, having been restored by the town in the late 1980s and refreshed again more recently for the expanded CT Rail service.

A slow parade of clouds ushered in a blue night at Southerndown. Lots of time to watch the light slowly fade and the waves to caress the shore. A slow parade is by A A Bondy.
slow news day. I posted earlier; twice in a day. go figure. i remember when i'd post 10 or 20 at a slew. we went out for groceries, meandering slowly from aisle to aisle, telling dumbass inside jokes and Family Guy references. she bought a blue summer dress and she loves it. Saw some friends at the store and invited them over for a bonfire and grilling later tonight. we came home, fed the dogs, cleaned the kitchen, built the aforementioned bonfire, put on some old school jazz, and danced on the porch. the tequila is chilling in the freezer - swing by and we'll have a few drinks.

C'était beaucoup trop venteux aujourd'hui pour faire de la photo en longue exposition.
It was way too windy today to make long exposure photography.
End of the day at Burton Ferry, Pembrokeshire. The tide slowly sneaks in. It was so calm and the reflections in the water were amazing.
There are many corners on roads passing through villages of my local countryside, each with dilapidated houses nearby. This is one of those corners, I visited it with my father in early November 2019.
