This is a long exposure photo of a Lockheed Harpoon which shows the movement of the stars over long periods of time. I added light with a ProtoMachines LED2 handheld flashlight from several angles while the tripod-mounted camera's shutter was open. And indeed, the developer of the ProtoMachines, George Loo, as well as Dave Dasinger, joined me in photographing a decommissioned WWII airfield.

Bondi Bay | Sydney| Australia

This shot was taken during my visit to Sydney few weeks ago. Thanks for viewing !

Taken at dance photography session organised by Wendy Kennett. I find the most challenging part is not to take the great shot but rather to admit when it didn't work. It is so easy to get unusual result with slow shutter speed technique when photographing dancers, but it is not an easy task to create aesthetically good rendition of dance. A simple slow motion capture doesn't make a good picture, it needs to be graceful. With lovely model Emily Packman.

Slow shutter speeds and streaking trains on the Washington, D.C. Metro

Evening at the beach. First attempts using a slow shutter speed. I'm pretty happy with this one. I love the light at this time of night.

self-portrait at an abandoned jail, NC

Found an old, creepy building walking around Edenton, NC that a man told us was an abandoned jail that is now open to the public. It was not maintained or a part of any historic site, they just opened the door so people could walk around, aka my dream.
