Slow shutter night photography

Slow shutter app on iphone4 and Christmas lights.

the driving range from down river. a car did cross the bridge but the headlights and tail lights were exactly the height of the railing so the streams are not visible. some red gelled flashes to the foreground.

 

not the shot i wanted but i suffered about 10 mosquito bites getting this so i thought i would post it.

Messing around with slow shutter speeds.

I have seen this done before.. so I gave a go at it. totally different color came out of this one for some reason. I like this one too.

Practicing using slow shutter speeds. Easier said than done! Out of about 200, these are the best. None of the full dark photos turned out. :/ Aahhhh, the joys of being a beginner.
