Don't get your feet wet

This picture was my slow shutter speed entry. What I did here was flash the flashlight just on her body, then took a large glow stick and outlined the image of wings and a halo, This exposure was about 30 seconds long. I wish that I would have had the exposure 15 seconds because of the halo; I was trying to pass the time but didn't realize how many halos I actually did. In camera raw I enhanced the white and blues to add more pop to the picture. Also purposely I had her wear the HeLa crew neck, because I thought it would add a little bit more to the picture, I mean come on we go to HeLa! This is my favorite slow shutter speed I have taken this year.

DHAKA holds the second place in least livable cities in the planet,it has a population of 7 million , its one of the densely populated cities in the world, its the worlds 9th largest city with one of the worst infrastructure.it traffic is terrific , traffic jam is the most common thing anyone will find it in any corners of the city.its got electricity problems, gas problems, water shortage..............and a plenty of problems.

but to me DHAKA is awesome, its beautiful in its own way.why don't we stop complaining for a while and try making this city a better place to live.all we do is just complain complain and complain. to me DHAKA is the best place on earth to live on and i m proud calling it my home and my city is beautiful the way it is.

Challenge 2013 Week 5 - Slow Shutter

This is the very first time I've tried doing traffic trails and I've learnt a lesson....take the spare camera battery, next time.

The battery was at 39% when I set up, which is normally plenty, but I put the camera into live view because I had to fully extend the tripod to get a view over the railings, which meant I couldn't see through the view finder.

I took 9 photos in the space of 20 minutes before the battery died. Of those 9 photos this has the most trails, and this is rush hour in Bexhill. It's also the only bit of dual carriage way for miles and as you can just about see, the speed limit is 40mph.

Taken with NightCap Pro. Light Trails mode, 28.12 second exposure.
