Negative cloud-to-ground flash striking the hill 1 kilometer away. Imaged at 1000 frames per second, played back at 20 frames per second.
Note the camera sensor suffers from the "black sun" effect, difficult to correct afterwards.
I haven't been able to find this in a color version, allthough it probably is somewhere on the net. But it doesn't matter that much, since the details are ok anyway.
These frogs where hard to find and shooting them going in the right direction took some luck with a little skill too. Fortunately Jerry the frog wrangler was there to help. The first shot was @ 200 FPS The others are @4000 FPS using a miro 4 camera and a canon 400 MM F2.8 lens focus was @ about 15 feet.
Easter Sunday celebration 2010. this event couldn't be captured adequately, in my humble opinion, with a still photograph.
It's playtime for Alpha
Filmed at 300 frames per second, played at 30 frames per second.
Casio Exilm EX-F1
Actually, this exact bolt struck my boss's house. I like my boss, though. Taken from my office window on Casio Exilim EX-FH100, 240 frames/second; in post-process replay speed reduced 4 times.
Race Brook Falls (Lower), MA
The man in the picture was a local farmer I met at the waterfall. Amazing the energy of a waterfall-he had knots in his back from farming so he came to the falls for a massage and it did him wonders.
The hike was very tough. After two steep miles, the waterfalls were very rewarding-the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen. Photography doesn't nearly do it justice.

The double carousel at LegoLand. I had never taken a picture like this before...so this was interesting learning experience for me. It looks like so many things to me...a spaceship, a super-sized top, a mushroom.....
LegoLand Florida ~ Winter Haven ~ 2012
Sehr warmer Spätherbst, normalerweise gibt es Ende Oktober den ersten Frost und keine Blüten mehr, Kamera handgehalten, Bridgekamera mit achromatischer Makrolinse 5 dpt.
Full resolution frame from 200FPS "Smooth Slow Record" footage from a Sony HD CCD camera.
Featuring butterflies and leaves and flowers and sky.
........playing with 120 fps video option on Panasonic FZ200 (on tripod)......through somewhat dirty window in February.........the quality here is reduced quite a bit also because I decreased the file size (from 124 Mb to 8 Mb) and converted it for faster uploading on my relatively slow connection..........but the 120 fps option has some potential I guess.........for playing with:-)
.........and for me at least videos never seem to play back very well from the Flickr interface anyway.......
........no audio recorded at 120fps......
