3d Cross-view - View the two images straight on and slightly cross eyes and the centre image which appears will be seen in 3d

Filmed using two cameras side by side on a bar. Four times slow motion. Original recording 1280x720 100fps on each camera.

In order to film fast moving water the two clips have to be sync'd together and that requires a fast frame rate. At 100fps the two clips can be matched in time by 1/200 sec or better.

I used a custom flat profile for the image ( low contrast and low colour saturation ). This gave me a slightly better dynamic range ( less chance of crushing the whites ). In the video editor I restored the colour saturation and contrast. A more professional camera ( two of them ) would have a 'log profile', but this would cost 10 times what I paid for these cameras.

Still stuck in film land. Apparently in slowmotion too. 100 ISO film makes some juicy black tones.

Sorry for being away everyone, but... My computer at home is totally dead!!!!! I need to buy a new one. But since i will be going on holiday in two weeks i decided not to buy a new computer yet (or i will be stuck at home with it and not go on holiday at all. LOL) So i ended up buying a new toy in the meantime.

a High Definition Video Camera :D

its a CASIO EX-F1. I never would've thought i would buy a CASIO. but it is really amazing, does 720p and 1080p. (This clip is obviously really low resolution because its highspeed recording) the HIGH SPEED RECORDING FEATURE ROCKS. this is pretty Slow though, its only 300fps (but the camera can do up to 1200 frames per second, give me sometime to learn how to use this thing properly :) but you can still see how cool it is this bee flying away (and if you do not see it in slowmotion, then you need to load the clip again)

I know this selfportait is really weird. I have mixed feelings today so this is meant to express how much I want to be free and how empty I feel because I can't do what I want until I finish my exams

Here is a compilation of slow motion videos I filmed since a couple of months ago. I used everything I found around me: toys, sea, flowers, my kids, insects, pebbles, puzzles... I have always loved making slow motions videos. I captured all of them. I also created the music for this video, I composed it and played the piano and all the other instruments, it is 100% original too. You can find my piano composition without the other instruments here: youtu.be/FXF0ZdTNktM

Heavily processed, short video of a pile of burning branches from when we had our property in California landscaped before selling it earlier this year.

EXETER, UK: These super-slow-motion pictures show in stunning detail every detail of a bursting soap-bubble. The intriguing photographs show each stage of the bubble as it disappears and were taken by bubble-master Richard Heeks, from Exeter, who patiently shot the sequence in his back garden. To get the unique pictures patient Richard used a macro camera to get in close and patiently waited for a windless day. And to make certain he wasn't chasing wayward bubbles around all day, he found a secluded spot behind his home where sudden gusts could hardly be felt.

A fast shutter speed of 1/500th of a second made sure he was able to freeze-frame the watery-mass as it shrank away, eventually leaving just soapy droplets hanging in the air.

Pentax K20D, shooting at 3 frames per second, with a 1/60 second shutterspeed. Shot with the Casio EX-F1 at 600 frames per second, through a Canon 250D close-up lens.

Water Balloon popped with a pin blown thru a drinking straw.

In this one you can see the tip of the pin coming out the side of the water. You can also see what seems to be an air pocket made by the pin traveling thru the water.

Gear used Canon 30D, 24-105mm F4 L lens, cheap strobe light and high speed sound trigger.

Two cameras side by side on a bar. Original footage is 1280x720 100fps on each camera.

Played back at beginning at normal speed then 2 times and then 4 times slow motion.

One of my aims is to film some birds hovering in such a way that they appear to come out of the monitor screen when view in 3d. This requires waiting for the right opportunity for me and the birds to be in the right position relative to each other and of course it would require slow motion to get the best effect. Not easy.

I'm very disappointed in the choppy playback of video to this point. Is it choppy for you as well?

With wet snow, flakes agglomerate and fall as clumps. iPhone video, Final Cut Pro X, Royalty-free music by RickVanMan.

Recorded in slowmotion. Makes the physics look more to scale.

Feel free to use this. I'd do it myself, but I don't have enought time.

Silence is ok for this I guess and I couldn't find any suitable CC trax. I am not set up to score video right now. I normally work in GarageBand, which is simply fantastic if you haven't tried it (and have a Mac), but right now I am moving files around and my loop and instrument libraries have lost their connection with the app.

It's a little difficult to compare because we're trying different types of shots (I'm trying to land on my kicking foot, Eric isn't) but it's interesting to see how much further back I plant my foot and how much more rotation Eric gets.
