This is how the slopes of trek to Khaliya top looked, snowy and grassy near the top and perfect 45° inclination.
The climb from Montpelier Canyon toward Geneva Summit, Idaho passes through snow-covered hills where the morning sun casts long shadows down the slope.
Silver Strand beach,surrounding high, horseshoeshaped cliffs.
The Bay is accessed by a steeply sloping series of steps.
On the way down the slopes, if you can brake in a narrow corridor, then your allow to take a picture of this view of the city.
What's also quite neat is that you can ski down directly to the entry of the apparment, that's luxury ;)

Louise Lake is a beautiful little lake that sits beneath the talus slope of Faraway Rock at the south end of Mazama Ridge in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. The park was established on March 2, 1899, as the fifth national park in the United States, preserving 236,381 acres, including all of Mount Rainier, a 14,411-foot stratovolcano. Mount Rainier is surrounded by valleys, waterfalls, lakes, subalpine meadows, and 91,000 acres of old-growth forest.
Stretching from Lake Constance to the Rhine and Danube Rivers, the Hegau is an extinct volcanic landscape in southern Germany. The area features sloping hills used for agriculture, forests, and the remains of former castles dotting volcanic stubs.

High of 68 degrees Fahrenheit
67 degrees Fahrenheit at capture
On a sunny, warm day in series of similar days, this and many other watersnakes were observed near densites and in water adjacent thereto. This medium-sized snake was found sunning on a slope over a slough, near a walking trail. By the afternoon the wind picked up and many snakes either went back into shelter or began foraging in the nearby bodies of water.

Color! Mixing things up a bit with a nice cool blue backdrop.
Was sorting minifigure accessories and came across two feathered headdresses (6029b) that reminded me of a hairy mandril head. Working with the few orange pieces in my collection was quite tricky, but I'm very happy with the top-heavy proportions of this character.
Also a Hail Mary attempt at getting through the Biocup prelims with the theme of "Nature". I'm loving making animal heads, but am having a little trouble incorporating any weird Bionicle bits among slope-based characters!
Just stacking some slopes. Based on a concept by nnenn, only my execution is a lot more basic.

Tucson Mountain District, Saguaro National Park, Arizona
We're standing at the end of the Valley View trail looking down the steep slope at an expanse of saguaro cacti, palo verde bushes, and other Sonoran desert flora. The setting sun is casting a warm side light on the scene.
This south oriented slope is very large . some 700 m tall and equally wide. While in this area other mountains of similar altitude are forested, Zaplata is all grassy, except the legendary patch of Devil forest.
Indio Hills...Monsoon Season. One of the things I love is the geology of this area. You can see how the mountain range begins it's slope to the valley floor. The light and shadows of yesterday afternoon played out in all it's glory.
Flickr have given me to May 17th to either delete my unposted images or take out a Pro account. Or of course I can post them, which I've chosen to do.
This scenic little waterfall is located on a path downstream from Mills Shoals Falls. Its a short and easy hike. Just watch out with low hanging tree limbs. Boink!!
I like this photo since I was able to hopefully catch some sky in the little pool in the foreground. Some trees were actually dropping their leaves adding some needed color to the photo.
In Kevin Adams new book he states, "As long as you stay away from the river and any wet rocks, it's just as safe there as on the sloping rock at the base." I should have heeded his warning. Just after this photo was taken I stepped out in front of my tripod and down I went. Deceptively slippery rocks for sure. But no real harm done.

Once the location of a short siding, Yoho is now just a short storage track (behind me) and the section of steep mainline connecting the two Spiral Tunnels. A eastbound intermodal train grinds its way skyward on the 2.2% slope....
Some years back the NYC government did sidewalk inspections all the over the years and required many home owners to replace sidewalks which were without defect. but Park Slope, being a histric district with 100+ year old sidewalks, was spared that inconsideration.
But many of their sidewalks are in poor shape. This one isn't the worst I've seen. I thought I took photos of the really damaged ones.
Honestly, Rogue One is my favorite of the new wave of Star Wars, full of interesting new design, ideas and unobtrusive fan-service for the most part. Among the wave of new ships it brought, the U-wing is certainly one the best. I am a bit late to the game, although I have been refining this design since December 2017.
Similarly to my last X-wing, there is also room for some improvement here. The swing wings, for instance, are technically working but currently put way too much stress on too few bricks. This is precarious at best, unfortunately.
Also this could almost qualify as a SHIP. It misses the mark by only 7 studs !
Intermodal container train 20R climbs briskly up the West Slope, passing under the old, but still operational, Pennsy signal bridge at Lilly. I chased 20R from Torrance to Lilly, and was surprised to see the train covered the 45 track miles in one hour, eight minutes--as fast as I've ever seen it covered by an eastbound freight train.
