Forgot to bring my camera when I went to an exhibition about community organisations in the Lower East Side.
The exhibition (designed by parsons or pratt students I believe) used ipodtouches mounted to the wall to show good looking slideshows of the projects discussed in the exhibition.
The home button was taped.
For the slideshow they used the standard "photos" app.
The only problem was that if you clicked too often and went back to the main 'photos' overview, and then clicked on a photo, everything would be rotated 90 degrees, and there was no way to turn it back.
The shining cloud here is "Noctilucent Cloud", nearly 300,000 feet up, about the height Branson's space flight reached, and
around 10 times higher than the highest "normal" cloud, and so thin that it is only visible half an hour to an hour after sunset when the sky is dark but noctilucent cloud is still in sunlight. The darker cloud toward the bottom of the image is normal high cirrus cloud, probably a mere 20,000 feet up.
For an extra $10, diners could get the chef's wine and beer pairings with their meals.
