My favorite "sunrise in paradise" location on Key West. These palms are featured on Jimmy Buffett's A1A album, and the back cover is about 50 yards north of here. While he lived here this was a favorite spot of his and he wrote a few songs here. Have been attempting to get the best shot of these palms for many years. I'M STILL TRYING!

Some of the dozens of old slide show films from a school that Roger Stevens gave us many years ago. Just found them in the coal shed all and wondering what to do with them.
Before the fashion show I went to a panel on lolita fashion. I have to admit I was partially just killing time, but it was fairly interesting. They put together a nice slideshow...
This is just a test to see how it looks...
I welcome your feed back..
Let me know if it looks fuzzy or just plan bad on your end..
I know there are some mistakes but I just put it together in a hurry...
Thanks so much...

I woke to a blue and white, sparkly world yesterday, and took myself off to see it all, in it's virgin state. Here are a few of the photos I took while I was out. If you have time, I hope you enjoy this little walk with me.
All the very best, warmest of wishes for the coming year to all of my friends x.
A slideshow (from Youtube) of some of my photographs from 2016. I hope you who watch it enjoy the photos almost as much as I enjoyed capturing them. I thank each of you, my Flickr friends for your continued visits, comments and faves, and wish everyone a peaceful, healthy and fruitful 2017.
Lots of fodder for slideshows that’ll never be made because nobody has any shows anymore.

In this slideshow (accompanied by the music of Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No.1 from 1888), I’ll introduce you to the following photographers:
1. Morton Allport (1830-1878) – One of Tasmania’s earliest photographers.
researchdata.edu.au/morton-allport-photographic-collectio...
2. John Watt Beattie (1859-1930) – whom we met yesterday.
3. Florentine (Florence) Perrin (1884-1952) - Bushwalker, Mountaineer, Botanist, Painter, Photographer
“Florence Perrin was born in Launceston in 1884. She was a keen bushwalker and mountaineer, being the first woman to climb many of the peaks in the Cradle Mountain — Lake St. Clair region. From 1914 to 1917 she climbed Mt Pelion, Mt Achilles, Mt Thetis, Perrin’s Bluff and Mt Ossa. Perrin’s Bluff was named after her.
Florence was almost certainly the first woman in Northern Tasmania to take up snow skiing, being a founding member of the Northern Tasmanian Alpine Club.
Florence’s interests were wide ranging. She was:
A founding member of the Country Women’s Association in Tasmania, donating the land at Low Head for the CWA holiday home. She worked tirelessly for the CWA for many years.
An active member of the Launceston Horticultural Society. Florence’s interest in botany enabled her to collect almost all of the ninety-plus orchids native to Tasmania
Co-author with A. Lucas of Seaweeds of South Australia, which is recognised as a standard work.
Florence was a keen painter, using the medium of water colours to paint all the flowers she collected. Her other interests included rug-making, cooking, cabinet-making and photography. During both world wars Florence worked for the Red Cross and for the Comforts Fund in Launceston.” www.communities.tas.gov.au/csr/information_and_resources/...
4. Frederick Smithies (1885-1979) - Adventurous bushwalker and skier, a fearless climber and fine amateur photographer. Some of his photographs (as you can see on this slide) are spectacular for the risks taken setting them up. www.utas.edu.au/tasmanian-companion/biogs/E000926b.htm
5. H.J. King (1892-1973) – whom we met yesterday.
6. Olegas Truchanas (1923-1972)
7. Peter Dombrovskis (1945-1996) – whom we’ll meet tomorrow.
sort of a slideshow i made a while ago.
ugh it cuts it off just a little bit at the end
music is
colleen - blue sands
i highly recommend using this when viewing the video! :)
it lets you watch it with a black background, and makes it a million times better
The sound and light show set up by Max Jago of SunSmart Energy (a local solar power installer) is something to behold. He has converted his own home into a haunted house, and it is quite spectacular.
I had to decide how I was going to display a range of shots which show of the cavalcade of colour witnessed by hundreds of people over the past two nights. A slideshow seemed to be the best option. Of course Halloween this year featured a full moon. Scary!

Another slideshow! The years keep on flying by. I got many photos from Uppsala this time, as I lived there through autumn for about 3,5 months.
Slideshow 2014

Short slideshow (music with personal permission of the composer John R. Cooler & his orchestra) of my own photos that I took the other day - so the flowers are still "fresh" as fresh as they can be at this time of dry weather conditions. We hope for some rain though...
Just some flowers from our garden to greet you this weekend and to wish you happiness and relaxation for the weekend!
And I want to thank everybody for taking time to smell the flowers, to look at my photos that are to 99% flower shots (can't help it!).
Thanks for taking time to comment and thanks for those who don't get bored and come back to my photostream!
Much appreciated! Blessings on each and all of you!

Today I have started to go through my Flickr and take down many images, therefore I have placed this small compilation of some of my work on the site as not to lose this handful for good. Please note, the images, being in a slideshow are only shown in lower resolution, enjoy.
Yours always
Cris ;-)
A slideshow of photos from Dian Lamb's Lookbook catalog published this month is available on my Youtube channel.
The five fashion creations I'm Modeling are already sampled in my Flickr photo stream. So if you liked them - here is more of the same.

Enjoy!
The slideshows keep coming, albeit they don't seem to draw major traffic. I guess Flickr is mostly for pictures, so it's understandable. These are, anyway, some of the highlights takes in 2012. I think this was the year when I really began taking good photos, partially due to acquiring new lenses and a new tripod.
Slideshow 2012
Taken tonight. Beautiful fall evening, probably the last we'll have this year.
It doesn't get any better than this. <3
Explore #224.
Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx
Apologies for the quality of the audio on this - I've had to bodge this together. I made a slideshow using online software but I couldn't save it in a usable format, so instead I had to play it on the PC screen while filming it on my iphone.
It is somewhat self-indulgent, so apologies for that also, lol.
A collection of pictures from my first emergence, right through up to the end of July this year. Loads of different looks, outfits, places and people. Personally, I can't watch this without being reduced to joyful tears!
The music, 'This Is Me', from The Greatest Showman, is the perfect track and is somewhat of a trans anthem. Rightly so. As the lyrics go:
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me!
This is a test upload. It's a slideshow showing some of the images in a book I'm reworking.
I'm taking David duChemin's advice and doing more with my photos and sharing them in other ways.
