Highlights of a box of moldy or chemically degraded slides. The worst say #ansochrome - the ones that fared better say #ektachrome. Some think the world is unfair - but from the majority of these pictures I would say World’s Fair

Help… I don’t know what happened but it almost seems like someone tilted the floor… I’m sliding down and I can’t do anything about it! It’s a good thing I found this rope to hold on to.

My write up on photographing the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas here
On the weekend of November 20-21, 2010, I was invited to photograph the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas prior to their opening December 15, 2010 in Las Vegas NV.
This set of images represents my efforts that weekend to showcase this newest resort property opening up on the Las Vegas Strip. Thanks to David Scherer from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for showing me around, to Miiko Mentz at Katalyst Films for helping to arrange the shoot, and to my wife for modeling for me.

ODC THE SLIDE
This is an activity that many of you will never have even heard of, let alone experienced. However, those of us who are old enough to remember Kodachrome ll will know exactly what this is all about. getting your processed slides back was always exciting and sticking them into a slide projector tray for a quick look was only the start. Eventually, you wanted to sort them into a slide show, and this involved selecting the appropriate slides and then sorting them into the order of presentation, then to be loaded into a slide tray. The last step was to capture an audience and make them sit through you holiday snaps!
