"Slide Rock Cascades" by Patti Deters. Pretty cascading waterfalls flow over a series of large rock boulders at Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona, USA. Surrounded by rugged cliffs and trees, the clear water acts to enhance the color and details of the red rock over which it flows. The park land was originally the homestead of a Tom Pendley who grew apples and vegetables for many years until selling the property to Arizona in 1985. The apple orchards are still maintained and provide visitors with a variety of pick-your-own apples. Thank you for viewing this picture.
