Hello Everyone!
I had no idea that a crab spider was in this frame until I saw it on my monitor! What immediately came to my mind was the old rhyme, "Spider Spider on the Wall!" Happy Slider's Sunday! HSS!

Thanks a million for stopping by and for your comments. I do LOVE hearing from you! Have a marvelous day!

Reflections in our pond with a little touch of magic.
Blowy day today - sunny and warm though. Wild and wooly weather - amongst the mists and mellow fruitfulness of Autumn - lovely xx

#HappyNewYear
2023 marks my tenth year on Flickr. If I remember correctly, I've joined in April 2013, but it wasn't before two or three years later that I began to understand that Flickr is not just a website to present your photos, but a social network as well. To celebrate this, the New Year that is still like a notebook filled with empty sheets, and also the fact that Flickr is still going strong (and hopefully will continue to go strong for many years to come) after so many ups and downs in the past few years, I thought I'd post another re-edit of a photo taken in... 2013 :) It's another photo from my trip to the Baltic Sea semi-island Usedom. To me, this particular capture represents the "unknown" that 2023 still is. One has a vague idea of what might come, but one can't see all of it, yet. It might look promising from the point of view we have now, 1st January 2023, but we still don't know exactly what waits around the corner or, like here, at the end of that beach promenade.
As with my other re-edits from my Usedom series, you'll find the original capture in the first comment. HSS and Happy New Year, y'all!, wishing you health, happiness (photographic) inspiration, and success :)
Ins Blaue hinein

#3 of my mini series from work at the Olympiastadion Berlin. You can find #2 in the fifth comment (I was too slow), and if you take a closer look at the previous image, you can also see the barrier tape in that photo. The worker on the cherry picker was doing something (I never found out what) on the ceiling of the upper collonade. I have photoGRIIIphed him up there as well, but I might postpone that (and more) image(s) from the Olympiastadion until next year. Since Christmas season will start with the first of Advent in only a week (time flies, just like the barrier tape in this shot), I think I will upload a few Christmassy- or festive-looking images now, images that I've wanted to upload for ages (previous December, December before previous December), but somehow never did ;)
HSS, Everyone!
Nr. 3 meiner kleinen "Arbeits"serie vom Berliner Olympiastadion.

Compositionally Challenged Week 2 - Post Processing Play
In post with the Ribbet editor I cropped the shot before applying HDR effect to bring out the background surface (purple construction paper) and make the shadow more defined. To finish I used a border frame. "Before" shot is below in the comments : )
