A heavily slid view of a decaying old hotel and store in downtown Deer Creek,OK. Deer Creek was settled early, boomed,and now is just a shadow of itself. This old structure has since been demolished...

HSS! There is a story here - My husband and I were on a cruise that had stopped in Newfoundland. While on our way to the tour bus I saw this dog and had to stop and pet it. Because I stopped, we were the last ones on the bus, had to sit squished in the back row (right next to the bathroom). This was three years ago, and I still get yelled at about it!

Tiny was still peeking through the hole in his Agate Disc when he got into a heavy thunderstorm with his disc. Even a little part of his left ear had been swirled 😄

In these times, it is comforting to have someone to go through it all together. Yesterday we weathered a different storm as we braced ourselves with a tornado warning. It touched down just about 15 km south of us. You just never know what each day will bring. There were no reports of anyone getting hurt but there was damage to homes.
The twisted mass of brown plastic nubs is the interior heart shaped insert. It's from the box of Godiva chocolates that I received from my better half on Valentine's Day.
Took several shots and went into slide mode. HSS!
Still trying to work on the focus with my Lensbaby...and then into Photoshop for a bit of faffing with the hue. It is Sliders Sunday after all! HSS
