As I come to experiment more with landscape images it becomes apparent that any weather conditions hold potential photo opportunities. Understanding the weather and how to focus on the right sort of images for the conditions is essential.
On a damp misty day woodland becomes your best option as the mist helps reduce the clutter and soften or even out the images.
Sai Ying Pun is an area in Western District, in the northwestern part of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It is administratively part of Central and Western District.
In Chinese language, Sai (西) means "west" and Ying Pun (營盤) means "camp", especially military camp. It was where early British military stayed.
西營盤位於香港香港島西部的一個住宅區，為香港最早期發展的地區之一。地區行政上，西營盤屬於中西區。西營盤的「營盤」，是軍營的意思。對於指誰的軍營，共有兩個傳說：第一是海盜張保仔的基地，第二是駐港英軍的營地，原因是英軍曾在該地駐防。1841年英軍登陸水坑口之後，便在今水街的山邊設立軍營，駐有八百名印籍士兵。

I used studs on the side bricks, clips and jumper plates to create a slanted polygon, perfect for a roof curved roof.
I will be using it on the Swing Carousel.

Lots of graffiti in this underpass on the Anthony Henday Drive. This wildlife corridor along Whitemud Creek has no proper paths or lighting. Signs along the trail leading to the crossing indicate that this is Private Property owned by the City of Edmonton.
The girl on the left's left leg seems straight, hence the title. I would like to study Garry Winogrand photos more as he has influenced how I hold my camera but not much else. Going to start with Tavis Leaf Glover's video as that may help me understand the quality of Garry Winogrand's work. Here is the video in case anyone else is interested: youtu.be/wX3PCBS-tIg

Here a fun little optical illusion. Although the lines appear to be slanting, they're actually parallel.
A pretty easy build - just strips of checkerboard with a 1/2 plate break between them (Used an angle bracket to get the spacing. I'll post a photo of the back at some point.)

The brackets follow some shallower pitch than the roof, but still slant away from L&R side brackets being parallel.
I'll add some shimming between the Z bracket and roof and some between the channel and the panel.
