I recall taking the MRT to Downtown and then waiting through the rain, hoping for it to stop before blue hour. And it did! In Sweden, rain usually mean drizzle that keeps on for hours, whereas in Singapore, it comes in heavy but relatively short bursts.
Anyway, this is one of the last pictures I got this evening. Staying at The Fullerton Bay Hotel for 2 months and 4 days would have gotten expensive. I'm glad I got to borrow a room in Sengkang, practically for free.
Well... The Sony ILCE-7M2, although now everyone wants to have everything on camera, (I think that because of the new way of thinking and without much effort...), the Sony took its time as usual to explain that this camera is great "for photographers", the ILCE-7M2 is a camera to take "photos" and it's not a big deal on video, even though it does them very well, the Videographers say it's not good at that video thing, but well, I'm not a videographer. I'm lately using the SONY-ZEISS lens, Model: Vario-Tessar FE 4/16-35 ZA OSS. As you can tell, I use the focus within the city at 16mm, simply because I like the dynamic distortion that gives the focus.😉
Taken in Nov 2021, looking over at the east side of Manhattan from Long Island City, Queens...

Doesn't downtown San Diego look nice at sunset, when the setting sun reflects off all the big glass skycrapers!
Cononado, Ca. October 2019.

Shame on me but i never photographed that milling plant before it's deconstruction begun. Now there are the apartment skycrapers on its place.
Musashikosugi with skyscraper construction giving the area an urban feel and outsider influx, the new local nickname Kosugi has emerged.

Tour First was inaugurated on 05/05/2011 at La Defense, Paris. It is now the tallest skyscraper in France.
The tower was built in 1974 by the UAP insurance company. The building was 159 m tall at that time. Its ground shape was in the form of a three-pointed star whose branches were separated each by a 120° angle. This particular shape was chosen to symbolize the merger of the three French insurance companies that were at the origin of UAP. The tower was renamed Tour AXA when UAP was bought by the AXA insurance company in 1996.
Large-scale renovation of the tower began in 2007 and was completed in 2011. The exterior appearance of the building was completely changed, with extra height added to the tower. The renovated tower, now known as Tour First, is 225 m tall at roof height, and 231 m including its spire, with a total floor space of 86,707 m².
