Before moving back to my favorite Polish city, I wanted to share another capture from recent trip. This image is taken from Manhattan Bridge towards downtown Manhattan, with FDR leading along along the east River. The fences have quite a few nice openings and I was lucky with the tripod size, I carried along for this trip. Looking forward for upcoming opportunities...Have a good remaining week. Thanks, Udo.

The Post Tower in Bonn is the headquarters of the logistics group Deutsche Post DHL Group (formerly Deutsche Post World Net) with its combined business units Deutsche Post and DHL. At 162.5 meters, it is the tallest German skyscraper outside Frankfurt and the eleventh tallest in Germany. The skyscraper is located on the banks of the Rhine at the edge of Rheinauenpark in the Gronau district and thus in the centre of the federal district. It has 41 upper floors and 5 lower floors. Between the floors there are a total of four so-called sky gardens - large-area connecting platforms between the two building segments North and South Tower. The roof arches downwards on the north-west side and thus becomes a facade.
The Post Tower was designed by the architects Murphy and Jahn (Chicago) with the collaboration of Werner Sobek (Stuttgart).

Der Post Tower in Bonn ist die Zentrale des Logistikkonzerns Deutsche Post DHL Group (zuvor Deutsche Post World Net) mit ihren zusammengefassten Geschäftsbereichen Deutsche Post und DHL. Er ist mit 162,5 Metern das höchste deutsche Hochhaus außerhalb von Frankfurt und das elfthöchste in Deutschland überhaupt. Das Hochhaus liegt am Rheinufer am Rande des Rheinauenparks im Ortsteil Gronau und damit im Zentrum des Bundesviertels. Es hat 41 Ober- und 5 Untergeschosse. Zwischen den Stockwerken gibt es insgesamt vier sogenannte Skygärten- großflächige Verbindungsplattformen zwischen den beiden Gebäudesegmenten Nord- und Süd-Tower. Das Dach wölbt sich an der Nordwestseite nach unten und wird so zur Fassade.
Der Post Tower wurde von den Architekten Murphy und Jahn (Chicago) unter Mitwirkung von Werner Sobek (Stuttgart) geplant.
