New blog: "Low Fat Mushy Pea Curry", I know it sounds horrendous, but trust me… this mushy pea curry is superb and very easy to make. It actually tastes just like chippers curry LOL…
Here is the recipe

My last spread on the train today. I got busted again by the girl on the left. She just gave me a deadpan stare and I just kept on sketching her.
Adebanji Alade is a British artist who does a lot of subway sketching as well and he winks at the person he's sketching when he's caught. Winking is not my style. Maybe tipping my hat at them...which means I have to start wearing a hat.
Pencil sketches, after ref. I like the left ones the best, maybe the lower one best of all. Ironically that's the one I used least time on :)
Before leaving Vancouver to live in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario) with Bob, I stayed with my sister and her family for a couple of days before my plane left. My nephew (late teens) was still at home and we spent a lot of time together, much of it in his room, him playing his bass, talking about all manner of things. As always, not knowing the adventure that would unfold before each of us. I sketched this during one of our conversations. Remington typewriter on the desk (originally my sister’s, circa 1960), he rejected hi-tech at that time. A great way to wrap up my time in Vancouver.
Approx one and half hrs to complete this drawing
Tools: H, 2B, 5B, F, Paper pen, Sanford Peel-Off Magic Rub
Drew this about 10 years ago. This is why it took me so long to get through calculus. I thought my hand was more interesting than it was...
At the Intro to Letterpress class at History San Jose. Such beautiful machines, such gorgeous type. Can't wait until our press at the office is all set up.
All work and no play can make a guy crazy. I needed a break from writing and data (re)-analysis and realized I have been neglecting my artistic side entirely too much of late (obviously!)
Hopefully this shook the cobwebs off my sketching abilities a bit, (a very little bit) I hope to sketch something every other day at least this year. Not a New Years resolution per se, but a goal. Like 120 dives and over 120 hours in the water. A goal I hope to hit, even surpass, but nothing I will cry over if I miss it. Came really close to my target of 100 dives and 100 hours in the water last year.
