Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Australia. Sixes and Sevens tavern. Saturday morning. It is winter and I am getting sunburnt on the back of my neck standing in the median drawing this sketch - and I realise that I am so bad with keeping track of the date that it is actually Saturday 22 08 15 - don't ask me why I thought it was 28 08 15? I must have been some place else.

I have photos of horses to work from. Thank you Johny.

Have you ever tried to draw a horses head? Easy? Oh yeh... Try drawing the nose for the first time! But I am learning. Wearing out my eraser, and have a long way to go, but I am learning, (I think) These are my first three horses!

Some ballpoint pen sketch

Three attempts at drawing sunset in B & W from the Peyrou. In the first left, the sun was still half horizon, and my retina transposed mostly blue, red, and blinding stains :-p .... Sunsets in B&W are really not easy...

Feliu, I let you judge if this counts for one or three in the sunset score :))). However, since your nice behavior :)) this is the updated sunset score : Feliu 2, Day 1 !!

Meeting doodle. I drew this during an ASIFA meeting. I really was listening... honest!

Are you still enjoying my ramblings? One person said her husband has started to write his memoirs... how about you? Your family would love it, as mine do.

Charcoal is not my favourite medium - like pastels, it's messy and tends to blur the image. This dragon turned out fairly clear, though, so I'm sharing it.

I have sudden fascination of Turkish belly dancer. Thanks to Aleyna :)

Warren Street Brisbane Australia I sketched this on Saturday while waiting on the street. Some guy came out and sat in the gutter and had a smoke and went back inside. Finished the sketch on Saturday night. My intention was to colour the washing hanging on the verandah. I still intend to do this when I get some time

Did you feed us tales of deceit?

Conceal the tongues who need to speak

Subtle lies and a soiled coin

The truth is sold, the deal is done

But don't despair this day, will be their damnedest day

I whipped this up in about ten minutes, pencil and pen. Jazzed it up in about two minutes with GImp.

In this pic, he's in a dark place (dunno where) thinking about something in the winds.

Scien Comes Again. Respect the architect...

a collection of sketches on napkins borrowed from the cafe at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art - unfortunately when they are scanned they lose all the wrinkles and texture.
