My brother-in-law (who baked the cherry pie in the other picture) brought several cherry-filled stems for me to do paintings/drawings from, isn't that nice? :)
He makes a darn good soy latte, if you don't mind picking out all the stray hairs that end up in it.
Today I checked out an exhibit called Our Body and I found it amazingly interesting. I give it a thumbs up.
The Mummy is a 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff, Zita Johann, David Manners, Edward Van Sloan and Arthur Byron.
The film is about an ancient Egyptian mummy named Imhotep who is discovered by a team of archeologist and inadvertently brought back to life through a magic scroll. Disguised as a modern Egyptian, the mummy searches for his lost love, whom he believes has been reincarnated into a modern girl.
True black and white graphic created from scratch and recolored. Added to create something with a period feel, with my original art.
Prints are available at the brand new InvisibleElement Store
The prints are beautiful and I am so happy to actually have them in my hands. The colors are true to the originals and the detail is pretty amazing.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at the store! More IE Sketch-A-Day stuff to come.

I spent the afternoon at my brother-in-law, Jeff's, house awaiting the arrival of the cable guy. Fun! This is how I bided my time... drawing he & Heath's two puppies (Dude & Trifle) and their grey kitty (Ho Cat).
Oh... and some of my snacks ;p
