Top of the line full-sized Chevrolet for 1958 was the Impala range, available in a number of body styles, here shown as the 4-door hardtop.

Sharing much of the styling with the other 1958 full-sized Chevrolets (Bel Air, Biscayne, Delray and wagons), the Impala included the best of everything. Engines, trim, features and comforts were all premium content. The Impala also made the most on the new, for 1958 only, Chevrolet body. Clean style Hardtop or Convertible bodywork, extra chrome trim, and soon-to-be-trademark 3-segment rear lights (missing for 1959 only), the Impala was the ulitimate late-50's American dream car on wheels.

The 1958 Chvrolet full-sized models were the last to be featured on the smaller A-body frame. The succeding 1959 models moved to the wider Corporate B-body, shared with all the other Divisions. This made way for the new 'Intermediates', smaller, though still large cars, intended to fight the imported competition.

First in the zoo series, this little gator just made me happy (and was great stitched in 6 colors on a set of cloth diapers as a gift)

Size compare to Hulk. Biggest challenge is maintain the size of hulk buster to a large fig scale.

Shortened sleeves and straightened the hem. Lisette twill from a few seasons back. The sleeves sit a little funny on the hanger but look fine worn.

This is a big worker's glove for men. And she's still only about 85-90% of the full grown size.

Big enough to keep the ground under it dry.

Rescued them from the trash

The size of Lake Toba may be a little difficult to grasp from the picture, so to give you some comparisons.

In Washington state, if the lake were aligned north to south in the Puget Sound area, it would stretch from Everett to Tacoma. In the Chicago area, it would stretch from Waukegan to Gary. In New York, it would stretch from West Point to the Statue of Liberty. This is one enormous volcano.
