An old flat iron (is there any other kind?) being used to hold a roller blind down, because the locking mechanism wouldn't lock.
For the Monthly Scavenger Hunt July 2007. I took all the pictures with an expired single-use camera. The minilab couldn't scan them, but now that I have the right sort of scanner, I can.

The travelling camera club is an on going art project devoted to sharing a snapshot of our world. We post disposable camera's to a group of people all around the world, each person gets 5 photos then posts the camera onto the next person in the route.
Eventually the camera will make it back to the travelling camera club H.Q where it will get developed and the photos will be put online for everyone to see.
If you'd like to take part drop us an email at travellingcameraclub@googlemail.com

The solenoid will fire when it has counted a certain number of sound events. I asked David to set the chip to prime numbers, as a certain theoretical evolutionary biologist informed me that cicadas like those sorts of numbers. The project is modeled on the life-cycle of a cicada, so this information seemed relevant.
Hmmm. Supersampler + cheap single-use cam + red plastic gel = what the [censored by Flickr]?
Another burning tree/bush/landscape. Mhmm. Appropriate for a Sunday? Well, tis the 23rd, so perhaps so ... maybe moreso, who knows. In the very least, I can say that I'll hopefully be able to post additional images from this rather chaotic, insane roll later in the day (after a photo drive/walk where I hope, among other things, to see Larry -- Lazarus-- the Supersampler, rise again). Hopefully I'll be shooting random doubles, triples, and so forth.
Ok. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful Sunday, the 23rd! Salud! 8^)
