The official single cover for Tea Megaard's new summer single "Tha'ts Okay" which is out on July 17th. This is a great song, guys, with a real summer feeling to it. I think we got that feeling across in this photo too. What do you think?
Young Edward lived only nine months. He was the sixth of seven children born to James and Georgia Weatherly. They had an eight the following year. The seven remaining children lived well into adulthood.
James and Georgia (friends called her Georgianna) were married in 1886. James was from Arkansas and Georgianna grew up in Hood River, Oregon.
In the early 1940s, Georgianna had taken ill. It wasn't serious, but she was in poor health. Then, in the late winter of 1943, James got sick. He was 82, and couldn't shake it. Georgianna went downhill as well.
James died on March 10th. Georgianna followed two days later. The family must have known it was coming, the held off for a double funeral.
We often hear about a husband or wife not able to live without their other half, but an event such as this is rare.
All of their children, save Edward, lived for years and years beyond their parents.

Water lilies cover the surface of Bennett's Pond at the end of a spur of the Provincelands Bike Trail, Provincetown MA.
You don't often see these alone, and they are extremely hard to get in focus. They run so fast on those tiny legs in and out of the surf, spearing coquinas with their little pointed beaks.
The Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis), also called the greater one-horned rhinoceros and Indian one-horned rhinoceros, belongs to the Rhinocerotidae family. Listed as a vulnerable species, the large mammal is primarily found in north-eastern India's Assam and in protected areas in the Terai of Nepal, where populations are confined to the riverine grasslands in the foothills of the Himalayas.
The Indian rhinoceros once ranged throughout the entire stretch of the Indo-Gangetic Plain, but excessive hunting reduced the natural habitat drastically. Today, about 3,000 rhinos live in the wild, 2,000 of which are found in India's Assam alone.

Some, not all coaches, are walking contradictions!
Telling your players, "Be a true sportsman", then, rub your opponents face in the dirt when the game is never in doubt, rubbish!
Stealing bases when you're up (14-2) in the final innings of the game contradicts your so called team message! It shows your true character coach and it's the cool-aid your players are drinking.

Form and function. Easy to use, a degree of theft protection (must have 6mm allen wrench to open on the other side) and a lot of sexy. All bits hand made in the shop.
This is an HDR processed from a single RAW file which I used to produce five different exposures by over & under exposing. The long exposure time has led to nice clear reflections in the water. I did try this with three in-camera bracketed exposures, but the speed of the moving clouds caused some motion blurring - I felt that this one looked better and had less noise. It shows part of Media City on Salford Quays, Manchester Ship Canal. The BBC recently moved here.
BSA or Norton cafe style thumper with traditional pipe, clubman bars, mag wheels, and modified headlight. However, it also utilizes modern mods the likes of a single sided swing arm, USD forks and a fuel tank integrated into the frame. Or in layman's terms old engine still go fast.

After Henry Ford was replaced by Henry Leland (the master of precision), formed the Cadillac Automobile Company, in Detroit. Leland had previously made engines under the Leland and Falconer names for Oldsmobile before joining the Henry Ford Company to make his single cylinder engine for the Ford Model A, and Cadillac. When the association with Ford was broken, Cadillac continued to make the Model A mid mounted engine into 1904, when it was joined by the Model B which had a dummy bonnet (hood).. Leland practiced rigorous interchangeability of parts and his single cylinder Cadillac (1903-08) won the 1908 Dewar Cup in a spectacular demonstration of this when three new Cadillacs were disassembled their parts scrambled and three cars built from the pile of bits without any hand fitting.

Public photography is not allowed inside London's St Paul's Cathedral but these photos were taken at the special #SurpriseStPauls event on the evening of April 8 2015. I was one of 300 lucky photographers allowed in with cameras for a couple of hours with the aim of capturing "less seen" images of the interior. Which I did my best to do. As well, of course, as taking this unique opportunity to also snap some of the more iconic views.
With thanks to the staff of St Paul's Cathedral and my fellow photographers who were a decent and courteous bunch. Many of them will have taken far better photos and I look forward to seeing them.
