Paseando por sus calles viviendo su ambiente no pude evitar de pensar en cambiar el significado de este síndrome .
Opino que tendría que significar ..."Síndrome adquirido por turistas que no pueden dejar de desear ser "secuestrados" por la vida que se vive en la ciudad del mencionado nombre."

La costruzione della Certosa iniziò un fine '400, quando vennero terminati i due chiostri con le celle monastiche. Per circa 500 anni fu sede di un monastero di Certosini.
Tra il 1673 e il 1722 venne costruita, su progetto di Francesco Pescaroli, l'attuale chiesa barocca ed un nuovo chiostro, ancora ben conservati.
Nel 1769 il monastero Certosino fu soppresso e il complesso fu drasticamente ristrutturato per accogliere una manifattura di tabacchi, la "Fabbrica Ducale dei Tabacchi di Parma", una delle più importanti del Nord Italia, che iniziò l'attività nel 1805.
L'attuale facciata neoclassica risale al 1847.

The construction of the Certosa began in the late 1400s, when the two cloisters were finished with the monastic cells. For about 500 years it was the seat of a Certosini monastery.
Between 1673 and 1722, the current baroque church and a new cloister, still well preserved, were built according to a project by Francesco Pescaroli.
In 1769 the Certosino monastery was suppressed and the complex was drastically refurbished to house a tobacco factory, the "Ducal Factory of Tabacchi di Parma", one of the most important in Northern Italy, which began operations in 1805.
The current neoclassical facade dates back to 1847.

K.D. si svegliò quel mattino e guardò le cose accanto a lei,
gli occhi ancor velati dalle briciole dei sogni
mentre il sonno scompariva accanto a lei lentamente,
il sonno scompariva accanto a lei...
K.D. si affacciò alla finestra, vide il mondo solito ad di là:
svaniva il suo orizzonte sulla ruggine del ponte
dove il fiume scompariva e la città finiva,
dove il fiume scompariva...
K.D. non seppe mai dire che sensazione la prese,
sentì il suo corpo svanire, le braccia eran ali rapprese.
Pianse qualcuno lontano che forse non conosceva
ed il suo pianto pian piano quell'orizzonte scioglieva...
Ma poi sorrise sorpresa di quella stupida ebbrezza,
il suo orizzonte tornato reale
le dava la solita sua sicurezza,
solita sua sicurezza............

Uno vá caminando tranquilamente por el centro saliendo de la Plaza de San Marco y luego de unos 7 minutos corre un viento extrano y uno siente que todo se queda quieto, segundos después el corazón se paraliza, los ojos se mueven desorientados por la belleza, ahí esta inmóvil y hermoso, el Duomo.

24/12/2009 La sindrome del checkpoint
Questa strada di Hebron è riservata agli israeliani; si trova poco distante dalla moschea di Abramo che ha un lato musulmano e un lato sinagoga ipersorvegliati.
I Palestinesi qui possono transitare solo a piedi, camminando lungo una corsia separata, che vedete in basso a sinistra. In fondo alla via c'è un checkpoint.
Noi quel giorno stavamo percorrendo il camminamento per i Palestinesi. Questo bimbo, invece, credo appena uscito da scuola, camminava in mezzo alla strada degli ebrei. Ho avuto un sussulto, pensando ai soldati che là in fondo lo vedevano. Ho scattato la foto perché mi affascinava il suo coraggio di passare lì in mezzo, ma temevo per lui, temevo che i militari assolutamente imprevedibili...
L' ho seguito con lo sguardo: a forse 20 metri dalla torretta ha preso la rincorsa ed è saltato oltre il separatore. Ho pensato : sei forte, e farai grandi cose :-)

Milano Design Week - Euroluce 2023
Among the exhibitions and events encompassed under the name "The City of Light", the fair Euroluce has offered an Exhibition dedicated to creative works made with or inspired by the light bulbs, called "Fiat Bulb - La Sindrome di Edison".
In a portion of a pavillion, it has been re-created a section of an imaginary airport, a baggage reclaim area with carousel and conveyor belt where many boxes containing works by artists and designers inspired by the bulb light and bulb structure have been exhibited.
Instead of passengers, here visitors have been called to turn around the carousel and watch every single work on show.
I believe this show has also been a "memory" tribute to the primary incandescent lights and the warm illumination they produce.
Here, a view from outside the show, where the watery effect is obtained by the transparent curtains made of windproof pvc slats.
(In the next photo, 2 creations I particularly liked).

Just like ideal passengers of a marvelous journey around lighting, here visitors have been called to turn around the carousel and watch every single work on show.
