Really cool space shuttle landing simulator app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. It only covers the last 5 minutes of a shuttle flight (approach and landing) but it has lots of options and it's only $1.99. Check out www.f-sim.com/test2/ - also my blog post: flyingsinger.blogspot.com/2010/12/ipod-shuttle.html

by Jens B. Kristensen Version 3.0

This famous aircraft formed the backbone of the British national airline, Imperial Airways, and its partners Qantas Empire Airways and Tasman Empire Airways Ltd. from the mid thirties and into World War Two. More modern aircraft replaced the aircraft that survived the war in 1947-48. The C-class also served as the basis of a famous, military flying boat, the Short Sunderland. I am addicted to this simulator. It is especially fun when you create your own routes, and you can select from a good amount of railroads. Here are two short trains.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) - PC

I took some instrument refresher training in this flight simulator at Wright Flyers Aviation, San Antonio, Texas.

This is a roller coaster simulator. I guess they weren't interested, or didn't have enough room, for a real one so they used this instead.

This is a lunar eclipse simulator I built in about 30 minutes after realizing the weather was a bit too cloudy to always have a good view of the moon. It uses an Arduino UNO, a ShiftBrite Shield, a ChronoDot, a ShiftBar, and a Satellite Module 001. The code is very quick 'n dirty, it just dims the moon as it enters penumbra, starts tinting to red-orange as it passes through umbra totality, and reverse the process. All in real time, synchronized with the ChronoDot.

Me on Racing Simulator.
