William Henry Sims was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, in 1812. He married Eleanor Norcliffe (maiden name unknown) who was born in Ireland in about 1817.

In the 1951 Census the couple are recorded at Water Lane, Cromford, where William was a General Practitioner. He is listed in Winster in White's Directory, 1857.

In the 1861 Census the couple are recorded at Town Street (the lower part of modern West Bank) where it is noted that William was "Licentiate Apoth: Hull London and General Practitioner Union Medical Officer."

William died on 30 June 1864.

I cannot find Eleanor on the 1871 Census. There is an Eleanor Norcliffe Sims on the 1891 Census in Leamington, Warwickshire, who was born in Dublin. She is described as a lodger and a widow. A person of the same name died in Warwickshire in 1895.

The difference in thickness between a normal/micro sim and a nano sim is negligible. I took this photo to show that but since it was taken, GiffGaff have confirmed cutting a sim to nano size works. Considering a normal sim card is pretty much a big bit of plastic, it makes you wonder why they were ever that big in the first place?
