Mamie (Grannie) and Ernest (Pawpaw) Sims in the yard at the farm in Bon Weir. They lived there for decades, but never owned a scrap of it. They leased the land from the timber company that owned it. The original part of the house was at least partially built of skinned logs. Over the years additions were made, and upgrades done, and by the time I came on the scene, they even had air conditioning in parts of the house - but the wiring was pretty scary.
I was unable to catch it, but at least two teenaged girls made a big show of being unable to swing, in order to get Julien's attention(s). But as adventurous as he may be, his help remained utterly appropriate.

Barbara Sims-Bush of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on November 12, 2016. She is predeceased by her parents, Clara Estelle Phillips Sims and Willie Lamar Sims (co-owner and operator of Sims Radiator Service in Decatur, Chamblee, Conyers, and Lawrenceville). Barbara is survived by her husband John Paul Bush, Sr. (THS 1974), their only child John Paul Bush, Jr., and a grandson, John Paul Bush, 111. She is survived by her siblings, Dianne Sims Bunn and Phillip Sims (THS 1972). Barbara is survived by Titan cousins: Ken Smith (THS 1969, but finished at Clarkston), Kerry Smith (THS 1973) and Carl Smith (THS 1975).
Porcão uses little coasters that say Sim (Yes) and Nao (No) on opposite sides, useful for letting the waiters know if you want more meat brought to the table. We tried to avoid filling up on sides to leave more room for delicious steak.
Furry friends will be available for all Sims this November.
