Mamie and Ernest Sims
Mamie (Grannie) and Ernest (Pawpaw) Sims in the yard at the farm in Bon Weir. They lived there for decades, but never owned a scrap of it. They leased the land from the timber company that owned it. The original part of the house was at least partially built of skinned logs. Over the years additions were made, and upgrades done, and by the time I came on the scene, they even had air conditioning in parts of the house - but the wiring was pretty scary.
