On our last visit to the University of Oklahoma, we drove by the stadium and saw a group of statues. We stopped to look at them and realized they were of the Sooner Heisman Trophy winners.
Billy Sims won the Heisman Trophy in 1978.

This house was the home of the Sims family in Cotton Gin, Texas. It stood for many years until it was destroyed by fire. Ladies of the community stood on the second story porch (fallen away by the time of the photograph) to cheer the Confederate soldiers who were marching away to war.
Alright, so I ended up getting this as well and honestly, I really, really like it! For game though, doubt it can replace sims 2 for editing. We'll see when I'm more used to it but so far...nah.
I tried to remake sims 3 characters for my RP guys but the lack of hair made me cringe. So I started by how I started with the sims 2, with my S3 me! The one with the white shirt yeah. The clothes are actually better than the Sims 2 and oh god I love the personality thing in create-a-sim. The options there for that are pretty awesome! And teh body size thing is more realistic, but could still use some tweeking. Let's not be too demanding though.
Ok, so for now I'm still exploring, but I have to say I love the new interaction type, as you can see here. And I think its great that the interaction options are affected by your sims personality.
It got a little dull playing just sim me though, so I added sim rosered in the neighborhood (my neighbor actually). Bahahhaa. But, given she's a teen, I had to give her a parent, so I gave her a hot bad boy neurotic dad. Ok, Neurotic sims kick ass XD. And given Rosered is a bit of a coward, it makes it better because he keeps scaring her every chance he gets and just rambles on and on about random conspiracies. mmhmm. Not to speak of his checking of the stove, you know, gas leaks and explosions and all. bahhaha
The neighborhood thing is pretty neat, though you don't actually go inside the buildings. I hope that'll eventually change, it's a bit annoying. Oh and gosh, this makes me laugh to no end, oddly enough. Cheap toilets are hard to flush and makes sims yell and complain at it. I died of laughter the first time I saw that. XD

A nice flight in the simulator in a Cessna 162 Skycatcher. Departed from Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, a quick stop at Salton Sea Airport (KSAS), a touch and go back at KTRM and then off to Palm Springs International (KPSP).

WinCroIng City: During April Lego lessons, I proposed to my three students (3rd and 4th graders) that we build a collaborative mircoscale city to be displayed at Brickworld 2011.
Someone hasn't been maintaining their Sims. One is sad and one is tired. Pretty soon, she's going to start wetting herself.

It sure doesn't seem long to me, because I do like to keep on top of the action and drama just because I'm the type of person who likes to know everything but say nothing.
But I am far from crafty, I can assure you. I'm just nosy, all the time.

I swear I've had dreams of my fandoms crossing over, such as sims and my obsession(shameless) with kpop culture. AND HERE WE ARE. HAYYYY.
Mmm! I'm not as into SUJU(except when they were on Exploration of the Human Body because nobody can beat their funny on that variety show), though, most of my time and energy are spent being a loyal DBSK fan. I mean, I've only been in love with Jaejoong (SUPERFICIAL LOVE?! I MEAN REALLY, HOW CAN YOU BE IN LOVE WITH A CELEBRITY?) since I was in the eighth grade...and now I'm way older(not really) and am waiting for my college rejection letters.
We should stop there, however. Because I am one of those fan girls. I totally, totally am. If we go any further into it, we REALLY go into it and this post will see no end. It's like those virus-like symptoms that come out at some of the most inappropriate moments. YADIG? STOP IT NOW.
SO ANYWAYS. This is a noob frank, because it definitely is what it is. Hmm. I didn't realize it looked like he was leaning so much against a wall until now...well, anyways, that wasn't really my initial intention. Shucks! But still fun no less!

Jane Danvers has just grown from a teenager into an adult, and seems pleased with herself. Left to right: her father John Danvers, her teenage steady Georgia Bendett (who became an adult a few days before Jane did), another teenage crush Ricky Cormier (who is an NPC, and therefore pretty much doomed to stay a teenager forever), and her little sister Joan (who grew from a toddler into a child just the day before). And then of course the brand-new Jane herself, looking right into the camera in a classic Sims 2 pose.

The Sims, a people simulator game by Maxis (now Electronic Arts), was the greatest video game hit ever, making its first debut in 2000. 2003 was the tail end of the shelf life of the original version, and this expansion pack, entitled "Making Magic" in English, was the final expansion pack, going along with magic and wizardry popularized by the Harry Potter books.
This ad was seen at Amiens' train station as I waited for the train back to Paris.
2004 saw The Sims 2 come out, and 2009 saw The Sims 3.
