Not my normal looking infill. Something was definitely off.

Between the CNC'd Pink Foam walls, and the Blue 3d printed parts, this wall was dubbed the My Little Pony Wall!

Many (but not all) of the windows for Hogwarts.

Using Jog Controls to spread the newly applied grease on the axis.

The Details on Hogwarts are what make it work. These Handrails were among some of the smaller details printed for the Castle.

How the wing looks with "Concentric" External Fill Pattern

These are some screenshots taken from the Simplify3D QuickFill profile I've been working on for a while now, which pushes the QuickFill head further, and using the 0.8mm nozzle for 0.2mm layer height prints, saves quite a bit of time over the same using a 0.3mm nozzle. It's also intesting doing a mix and match combo too, 0.8mm infill, 0.3 for the externals or whatever tickles your imagination.

Printed on MakerGear M3 ID using Gizmo Dorks fluorescent filaments, 0.2mm layer height, 0.35mm nozzle, 220 C (could probably go lower)...

What other info would you like? I appreciate your inquiries!

Should I create (free) repositories of gcode? And/or of Simplify3D profiles?

(Note there's a "repaired" version listed, but the page never loaded for me, so I did not get that version.)

The View from inside the 3D Printed Astronomy Tower - With Catzilla in the background. Since the tower is open, I used Hatchbox Wood PLA to print the ceiling rafters.

Hogwarts 2017 currently exists as a collection of parts in boxes!

Front View of Concept Rendering for Hogwarts 2017. Biped for Scale.

Hogwarts is covered in flaming lanterns. To achieve the effect, I used Shapeways 3D Printing Services to print highly detailed Lantern Frames. I then painted and fitted each one with a small flickering LED from Evil Mad Scientist.

Side by Side comparison of the New Main Tower roof versus the Original Main Tower roof.

Yup... learned something new today. I can show the build table and have a visual if I'm putting things off my bed.

MakerBot Mini Human Skull. Printed on MakerGear M3-ID with 0.1mm layer size, 0.35mm nozzle, MakerGear transluscent purple PLA filament.

Sliced with Simplify3D.

I used supports for the mandible, but nothing else.

Zero cleanup!

When slicing my cardinal, I noticed an anomaly in my top layer.

Changing my External Fill Pattern for my Wing.

Streamlined my color change process with Simplify3D. Only thing I need to watch out for-- the swiping between layers. In this case, it was hitting one of my blue jays.

They say you are your own worst critic. "They" haven't met your cats yet.

In Simplify3d, you can setup multiple settings for your print. The Cross Section view helps you pinpoint the height you want to make the switch.

3D print of a scan made with an Artec scanner from a Chinese bronze statue depicting a dragon holding a pearl. I downloaded it from here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:16881

I used PVA for supports. I must admit this produced great results a lot easier than when using the PolySupport.

Printed on MakerGear M3 using PLA filament (and PVA for "dense support")

Sliced in Simplify3D

Print time 34:45:31.

Layer height: 0.1mm

Nozzle: 0.35mm

Print time: 34 hours.
