A close up of a wonderful quilt Gay and I picked up years ago while visiting the Amish countryside around Lancaster, PA. We've never used it as a bed quilt but rather turned it into wall art for our dining room so all our guests get to enjoy it..

Geek Alert: This image was the fallout from a test I ran this morning to satisfy my curiosity about the alleged impact of diffraction on image sharpness. This one was shot at f/16 and without any help it looked like mashed potatoes when viewed at 100%. But when I used the updated sharpening settings for LR developed by the genius, Pete Bridgford, the improvement was astounding. Then to guild the lily I ran the original file through Capture One Pro 11 using their diffraction correcting tool. The results were even better than the Bridgford version but only when viewed at 200% The posted image is the final Capture One version. God only knows what Flickr's compression will do to it.
Grass, sunflowers, sky. Agricultural layering. Willowvale on the Darling Downs, a couple of hours from Brisbane.
After a hard day at work all I need is a nice hot bath and a glass of wine. And yes,I love my red suit.

Hello guys! Sorry for not being around as regurlarly as I would like to -_-... I kindda overexerted myself, and for a week or so felt dizzy everytime I spent more than five consecutive minutes in front of my computer. Which was so not helping with all the work that still need to be done, ha ha...
Anyway, it's getting better now so I'll try to be more active :)!
