It was built for Owen Owen Department Stores to replace the previous building, built in 1937, but bombed in the blitz in November 1940.
The building was refitted by Primark in 2006.

A simple breakfast at Kopitiam in Simei. 2 eggs, a small piece of jam and butter toast with 2 thin slices of ham. This type of breakfast can be bought at many coffee shops or hawker centers.

These grown in a parking strip where I park 3 to 4 times a week, am fascinated by the leaves.
Early summer they get blotches, and with warmth and sun new growth. I don't know what the plant is.
I'm heading back to try some more angles =:-]
Peñíscola
El castell de Peníscola, també anomenat castell del Papa Luna, és una fortalesa d'origen templer al punt més elevat del penyal de Peníscola (Baix Maestrat, País Valencià), sobre el qual s'assenta la localitat homònima, que envolta el castell.
L'espai que ocupa l'actual fortalesa correspon a l'anterior castell o alcassaba andalusina, que probablement ja havia estat construïda sobre fortificacions anteriors. La fama d'inexpugnable d'aquest castell quedà confirmada amb el fracàs de Jaume I davant dels seus murs durant el setge de Peníscola (1225). Durant la conquesta de València, Jaume I simplement evità la fortalesa, que se li acabà rendint amb un pacte de capitulació el 1233.
