One of our indoor mini daffodils seen against the outdoor plants in our garden.
My wife is a very stubborn person and for days she resisted attempts to get her into hospital. Yesterday she gave in and is now getting proper treatment for pneumonia and two broken ribs.
I will visit contacts as and when I can.
Apparently on the back of the signs there are directions to: New York, Monster Midge, Happy Valley and Beach Bar
I'm thankful I live in this wonderful state in this great country where we have so many things to be thankful for.
An old shot taken back in early 2009 when the old 1950's neon sign was looking its best. At that time there was a burgundy backing behind the large lettering which served as a light block. Over the years the metal started to deteriorate so it was all taken down in 2014 just leaving the neon. With rising taxes ($382,000.00 for 2021) it seems maintaining the sign had to take a back seat to economic survival. Now it's just been announced the old 1954 motor hotel has been sold so who knows what will become of the signs.

Uyuni Salt flats of Bolivia
I had a chance to shoot aerial photos of the area during the first morning lights.
It is part of the Altiplano of Bolivia in South America. The world's widest,highest salt like on earth. Altitute is 3.656 meters, and 10.582 km2.
The brine is saturated from sodium, lithium and magnesium chloride in water. They include unusual and fragile coral-like structures and deposits that often consist of fossils and algae.
It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar
