Sign for the North Bend Aerial Ferry at the outdoor display of the ferry in Boston Bar, B.C. One vehicle at a time drove into a cage--the aerial ferry of its kind in North America--which then swung across on cables over the Fraser River. It was operational from 1940 to 1986.

After finishing the lessons in Scott Kelby's "7-Point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3", I had to go back and revisit some of my older stuff.

I started with this JPG image, adjusted the foreground using Camera RAW and then made another image in Camera RAW and adjusted the sky.

I merged the two images in Photoshop and then darkened the sky, lightened the foreground, desaturated the blues and yellows a tad, etc.

It's not remotely realistic. The sky is pretty dark for an image that's looking right at the sun.

Oh... and if it looks familiar, it's because I did another HDR Version months ago.

I'm not lost, just wandering. Where I end up is not as important as what I see along the way.

One of our indoor mini daffodils seen against the outdoor plants in our garden.

My wife is a very stubborn person and for days she resisted attempts to get her into hospital. Yesterday she gave in and is now getting proper treatment for pneumonia and two broken ribs.

I will visit contacts as and when I can.
