I knew I wanted to add a little something repurposed into my signature look cause I feel that that is pretty much my signature!! I love repurposing things. The Dress itself is made from scratch using my own patterns and then the repurposed part is the white shoulder piece.. It's a piece from my wedding dress! It was the decorative gathered waist band on my original wedding dress and I took it off and I've been dying to use it in a dress!! So Here it is!!

It's always nice to incorporate some signature piece into your big day. Whether it's winged eyeliner or gold hoops, if you do it right it can look different and still look like all you.

... on beautiful paper. Invited by the Taiwanese representation in Brussels to the vernissage of the calligraphy exhibition by Tong Yang-Tse. Going together with Harumi Nakano sensei gave me a lot more insight into the artwork of this huge-scale calligrapher.

Working for a local delivery company I had the opportunity to deliver the new poster for James O'barr's new installment for the Crow. I got the first signature, months before his book signing in Los Angeles in January 1996. The other was the shell of my jacket which I had the players of the 1997 Detroit Red Wings sign as they came out to mingle with the people in the underground of the Joe Louis Arena.
Emily Floyd
Painted aluminium sculpture, 2004
Waterview Walk, Docklands (Melway ref. 2E, H6)
Melbourne artist Emily Floyd’s Signature Work is a playful addition to the public art collection at Docklands. Resembling an abstracted toy rabbit, it is intended to amuse and confound passers-by. Standing nearly four metres high and coated in black Polyurethane paint, the aluminium-plate sculpture is also reminiscent of futuristic creations such as Darth Vader, or the menacing rabbit figure in the film Donny Darko. Planted in the urban landscape of Docklands, the presence of this giant rabbit is both cute and unsettling as it looms over the viewer.
