I wanted to do some more test shots using the DIY cookie projector I recently made. After all my testing, I found that cookies created by Staples using regular transparancies worked best. For fun, I had one made using my signature. It worked fairly well.
strobist: 1 Canon 580EX, camera left, diffused by a 14" Lumodi beauty dish with titanium finish. 1 Quantaray flash, camera right, reflected into a white umbrella. 1 Lumopro LP120, slightly camera left (pointed at background), shot through a DIY cookie projector. Canon 580EX and Lumopro LP120 triggered via Cybersyncs; Quantaray flash triggered via optical slave. For the setup pic, I also used another Quantaray flash, bare, fired into the ceiling of the kitchen so that there wasn't a distracting region of black on the right side of the setup pic. The flash was fired via Cybersyncs.

The top is my nornal .sig and the bottom is 'Wesc' in a very compressed Tengwar. I signed the attendance sheet in Modern Philosophy with that. (Parenthetical verions are simply written 'readibly'; printing rather than signature).
One of the easiest ways to sign off documents is the use of an electronic signature. It has been a very easy way for patients to sign off medical forms without having a lot of paper forms and trying to organize them all.

In 1893 Kate Sheppard and her fellow suffragists gathered the signatures of nearly 32,000 women, creating a 270-m-long petition. The petition called for electoral franchise to be extended to women, to enable women to vote. On 19 September, 1893, legislation was passed by both houses of Parliament and the Electoral Act 1893 became law. The news took New Zealand by storm and inspired suffrage movements all over the world.
This commemorative teaspoon, featuring the image of Kate Sheppard, was produced as part of events celebrating 100 years of Women’s Suffrage. It has been photographed in a newly created customised enclosure. You can read more about preserving suffrage memorabilia in our Facebook Note.
The teaspoon is an example of the merchandise or products that were produced to celebrate or advertise the 1993 Suffrage Centennial Year. In some cases projects produced regalia as part of their work, where this is the case the project number is noted on the list in Archway. This material was transferred to Archives New Zealand from the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
