The railway signal controls in the signal box of Rowley Station in Beamish musieum stand soldier-like and ready to control the movements of rail traffic on their sevction of the line.

After lunch, we drove to Signal Mountain where we visited the Signal Point Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park.

Frank and Bill are part of the Traffic Signals day crew, which responds to 3-1-1 requests related to traffic signal equipment and traffic signal emergencies. Here, they are trimming a tree to clear the view of a pedestrian signal on the intersection of Yager Lane and Lamar Boulevard.

Every parking space at John Wayne Airport has a light above it that displays a different color, depending if it's empty or not. A green light indicates a typical vacant stall; a blue light indicates a vacant stall for disabled parking only; and a red light indicates an occupied stall.

I visited the box to get photos and measurements for a model i was asked to make as a retirement present for one of the signallers there

All lights lit. The left is Main One with an empty sulfur unit train coming. The signals on the right are for the controlled siding. M336 will come out and head to the right onto the Fox river sub and on to Green Bay.
