I was really surprised to see this storefront in Orillia, obviously an old Bi-Way store (with the sign roughly painted over). I haven't seen anything like this in years. Maybe this was one of the last Bi-Way stores to operate here in Ontario?
January 2009; I was very disappointed to see this bldg virtually abandoned and the "sorry charlie's" sign -- one of my favourite signs in Savannah, GA -- destroyed. Sigh. If you want to see what the sign looked like in February 2007 (and last January too) have a look here: www.flickr.com/photos/alphabetsoupstudio/2460684784/

This old car wash with the cool old Fina sign is just down the street from Randy's Bar-B-Q. I'm SURE there used to be a big Fina sign but, alas, I never got a photo of it (we drove by this area once last year and my camera battery was dead) and now it's gone. Sigh.

In 2015, when Converse relocated its headquarters from the suburbs to a century-old restored property in Boston’s Lovejoy Wharf, they wanted to make a statement with their signage. Installed on the roof of the 9-story building is one of the most impressive signs in the city. Extending 10-feet tall and spanning 80-feet wide, the letters were designed to match the building’s rust brick facade and copper patina trimmings.
