Die Occupy-Bewegung hatte sich vor der EZB in Frankfurt mit einem Camp niedergelassen.

I finally found out that the road to nowhere else is a dead end!!

You can see this sign on I-40 as you approach Tramway. Took a while to track its location down.

A brown-clad sign and now relic from an earlier Toys "R" Us in Nanuet, New York which was remodeled almost a decade ago.

This "forgotten" sign can be seen at the rear entrance on West Nyack Road with great surprise attempting to find the store.

At times in the past it was fairly common to hear someone say "It's the Cadillac of microwave ovens" or "the Cadillac of mini vans", implying that the Cadillac brand was the hallmark against which others might be gauged. Not so much today.

In the earliest days of Coca-Cola, they went around the south painting lots of advertising murals. Recently, Coca-Cola has undergone a restoration project for many of their old murals. In October 2015, they unveiled this restored mural on the side of Patrick Sullivan's Saloon in Knoxville's Old City.

See a local newscast about it here:

I was so happy to drive down Main Street in Palmer, Mass. and see that the owners of the Palmer Restaurant had restored their neon sign. Last time I was in town, the sign was looking very weathered, and I expected to soon see a boring plastic replacement. Kudos to the owners for recognizing the beauty and significance of the original sign. I can't wait to see it lit someday.

On a sad note, I noticed that the neon sign at the Day and Night Diner was gone from its pole. Last time I saw it, it had become partially detached from its pole. I hope it, too, is out being restored.

Shot this with David Bales earlier this evening and thought I'd post it even though it will be posted again once it can go through my entire multi-exposure HDR workflow process. David told me the owner freaked out that people dared take a picture of his sign, you know, the one out there in public display for advertising purposes?

Sounded like a challenge to me :D Thanks David, for showing me around your town!

Bleu Cheese is the best fuckin' salad

Finished this pillow for my little boy. The quote is from the children's book Guess How Much I Love You by Anita Jeram. Fabric is Constellations by Lizzy House (I had a fat 1/8th bundle from Westwood Acres) and the font pattern is Just My Type by Kristy from Quiet Play, you can find the pattern here in Kristy's craftsy store.

Half asleep after the midnight shift, I passed this motel in West Salem,Va today and about wrecked making a u-turn. Looks awesome, air conditioning AND Color TV.

They just finished a huge order for the financial industry. [or you can have the truth]
