Blue signs still in situ despite some 'modern' smaller ones - at Crianlarich Station on 19/7/83. The 'Upper' distinction no longer necessary.
The Landis Avenue side of the Vineland NJ Sears. Judging from aerial photos this section was added on in the early 1950s. There were two entrances under the sign on either end surrounded by display windows, there are signs of these in the brickwork.

I went to England and these were a couple funny signs I saw. If you are from England they might not be funny, sorry. I'm just confused as to what they mean.
An old sign that used to be neon, and I would assume it used to be for a different business. Now it has been repainted to demonstrate their UT pride. Seen in South Knoxville along the Chapman Highway (US441),
Everyone in Nunda, NY knows where these signs are in the middle of town. I wonder how many remember when the dealer was in business.

WEEK 21 – Summer 2017 Kickoff!
Next up, heading into the grocery aisles of the store with a close-up of an aisle sign. I'm fairly certain that this sign, for the dairy department, is along the left-side wall of the store just past produce, since I feel that my dad would've been walking the perimeter here (like I do when taking photos!), but I can't claim to know that for sure since I wasn't here. Anyway, this aisle sign is definitely interesting! It's not your typical Industrial Circus sign, like you saw at S Perkins. But ACME Style shows it's not uncommon.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
I have always admired this sign, the closer you get, the more abstract it becomes. I will post later.
Caldor sign in Bedford NH in July 2003. The building, which was initially a J.M.Fields had just been demolished to make way for a new Super Stop & Shop supermarket (closed today)
After much rain and some more rain, finally it stopped raining and I could step out and take some photos.
Then I read that my beloved ODC Group 3 was getting closed, so I joined Group1, but I didn't have the chance to say "good bye" to my ODC friends from Group 3. (I will see some of you anyway, because you are already my contacts or you are with me in Group 1!).
So here it is: Have fun, take care, and I will see you on Flickr!
Some folks think that the signs don't apply to them! Thank you for taking the time to view my images. Any faves and comments are deeply appreciated!

Lodge Lane, Derby'.
In King Street, Derby - I believe that Lodge Lane was alongside this building.
Its an old sign hanging off a new drugstore. Still, they saved it instead of trashing it.
